Part 10: • Lord Jamar on VladTV G...
Part 1: • Lord Jamar: A$AP Rocky...
----
In this clip, Lord Jamar recounted running into Tupac before his Death Row days. Lord Jamar remarked that Pac always had an aura that made people stop and take notice. Although Lord Jamar said he couldn't predict Pac would've become an icon, he did admit that Pac was always a big deal.
Later, Lord Jamar reacts to the story that Orlando Anderson was willing to fight Tupac and how his death could've ultimately been avoided.

Yeah, he wasn't as lyrical as some other dudes back in the days but he had the social message and the strength of character. Crazy to see what he accomplished at just 25 years old, before the internet era.

2Pac is the first LGBT-ABCQZP icon. Both taking it and giving it up the ass for the 'homies'. Once he went to jail and got his criminal record, he was an official rapper. It is just too bad that the crime he got locked up for was sodomy. haha. What a hero.

Kenneth Evans tell me about it 🙄 personally I think Me Against The World, Makaveli and even Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z are better albums than All Eyez On Me. Tupacalypse NOW isn’t a better album than AEOM but I’d rather listen to Tupacalypse NOW just because ‘If My Homie Calls’ is on there and that’s my second favourite song from him 😂

People can say whatever they wanna say about the man, but Pac never had a rep for being soft. A lot them Oakland cats have shared stories of both Pac losing and winning scrap outs. People forget the fact that even professional fighters lose fights. Nobody is invincible. I grew up knowing a bunch of street fighters and they were really good at knuckling up but even they knew when to pick their battles no matter how hot headed they were. I think win or lose Pac would've accepted the fight.

Tupac was always surrounded by powerful spiritual forces. Unfortunately, due to his lack of discernment for associating himself with humans who enjoy practicing the "Art of Bullyism" (a practice that is routinely performed by cowards), the end of his story was written on the wall. I met him twice. In Pasadena. In the secluded hillside recording studio of Chico Bennett (1990). Although the duration of our conversations were short due to time restriction (studio block out), he definitely took a piece of me when he left. He was 2 years my junior. He was like a little brother to me. Truth be told. I should had been the first artist signed to Death Row. In actuality, Tupac was a microcosm of Me. Dre and Suge know who I am.

I don’t take away from you the effort(s) you’ve accrued , but in all of these interviews I’ve yet to hear a whisper of mention regarding a huge piece to the Las Vegas puzzle. Keep looking & you’ll find it ( it is a tangible thing you can hold in your hand btw - not referencing a subjective piece of information ).

Lord Jamar knows everyone and anyone. This dude is dilutes your brand Vlad how you can’t see that idk. Even his controversial comments don’t get enough views compared to legit interviews with regulars and ones fans been asking for.

What if they did fight and 2pac won, do you think Orlando would have let it go and except he got beat twice by a rapper? Cuz you know Pac would have talked mad shit on some songs about that, and im sure that would have grinded Orlandos gears and his homies would have been bustin his balls about it too. The pressure may have got to Orlando to the point where he may have felt he needed to do something about it, and fighting wouldnt have been an option cuz he already got beat.

Jamar made a point that ppl dont understand......i was in 9th grade in 96..... And EVERYONE was playing all eyes on me..... Then he died and it felt like he immediately became a myth, martyr because of his last projects including Makaveli.... So hes sorta right when he says Pac was big then....... He felt like Jordan then
