Bigotry is not culture. Just like racism is not an accepted part of culture anymore either…. But I suppose seeing also the Presence to of the homophobic Salvation Army shows the level this parade has reached.

@@Steampunksaly what was bigoted about a band playing harmless cultural songs? Clearly you have some sort of prejudice/bigotry towards these Great people.

I have marched in a few Remembrance Day parades in Gettysburg with the Federal City Brass Band, but it’s been many years! Moving to England from America, this is one of my favorite events for marching bands. Glad you enjoyed it.

@@MattBasch You may like battle of the bridge in Glasgow it shows a most raucous noisy sight as one part of a parade heads home to the south side of Glasgow.3 other parades that are bigger head to North ,West and East Glasgow. Always puts a smile on my face. I love the patriotism of these people something England could learn a lot from as they lose their identity.

What do all these marching bands have to do with the city,of London? How are all the trades and crafts represented ? So many of the street names are off the guilds and trades etc. Where was dick whittingham and his cat?
