@@niklaskahl5955You gotta start somewhere dude. That's when I started college. You have to know how to to set up, then wire a kit up to the mics. I think it was our introduction to microphones actually. so you know what mic is for what and how to get the best sound etc. I feel like you think I'm having a go at drummers, I assure you I'm very much not. I'm just pointing out how it's just dawned on me that a drummer will have to set that kit up every single time (unless he/she is lucky enough to have that kind of space!) My ex had a kit aswell and my god what a pain it was setting it up everytime!

I totally understand you. As a sound engineer it is certainly annoying, but not as a drummer. :) But i like your approach. So much more people should acquire that know-how!
