@Chris Bailey I like Lord of the Rings better too. I am well aware of the texts that predate the Old Testament. In my opinion that's a stupid argument. There's no reason to doubt the Old Testament because of similar writing styles. My dad is a Biblical archeologist believe it or not. Those texts were completely irrelevant during the time where the Old Testament was written. Stop with the conspiracies. I've heard much better arguments than that.
@animetalesseries4 жыл бұрын
@Chris Bailey By the way the inbreeding argument is pretty dumb too because whether evolution or creation exists, inbreeding had to occur at some point. And yes, human race is a product of inbreeding. Inbreeding used to be normal. It's in the history books. Only in the past couple thousand years did it start to have a negative effect on newborn babies. Are you able to take into account the time you're living in and how it might have been different thousands of years ago?

@@ahtoshkaa @ Kartun Land The whole point of Merry and Pippin is to show the change they went through during their journey. They started as troublemakers and comic relief, but eventually learned the importance of what they were part of and did very honorable things (both of them decided to fight in the war). This is a very well-written character growth. Rowling obviously tried to copy this, but failed in my opinion. Fred and George did fight, but were still used as comic relief with no change of character. Instead of showing their change, she decided to choose the simpler option of making them useful from the start - which is definitely not making them better characters. Then in the end of the series she killed one of them off to show how serious things have become, which is very lazy writing and an overused cliché.

I like that Gandalf doesn't totally object to the idea of being kissed by a Nazgul\Dementor, but wants them to follow the protocols of the dating world😂

Here's some things I noticed while watching the first The Lord of the Rings: -Gandalf falls off the the bridge like Dumbledore fell off the astronomy tower (also, in Die Hard 1, Alan Rickman falls off a building exactly like Dumbledore too) -the ring is like the invisibility cloak, resurrection stone, and the elder wand in one -the nine on horses are kinda like Voldemort's followers I'll add more once I watch 2-6 :)

That one's a little unfair, as much as I think the romance between Harry and Ginny was, well, *bad*, she does have some character and relevance. Unlike Rosie Cotton.
@willcc19-184 жыл бұрын
Baguette Gott still don’t get why he mentioned Rosie. This video is about confusing Frodo for Harry Potter. Frodo never had a love interest in the main story
