@mostlycasualcommander I can't decide how to go with Aragorn. Do I go humans? Or voltron/spellslinger with a lot of green to pump? I dunno.

After playing Aragorn a handful of times, I think that green heavy multicolored legendary creatures is correct. I think the majority of spells should have green in it and probable lean in to white as well for token generation. That being said, that's how I (BK) would prefer to run the deck and there likely deck builds that have something more impactful. But... if you had fun, you won, am I right?

@mostlycasualcommander i take everything back. I'm gonna make it hard with a mill deck. Value for every spell. Wheel colors. Green "shuffle graveyard into library." Many alt wincons and some weird white cards I never thought could be good (notably enduring renewal)

A bit late to the part but I noticed that Jman should’ve lost as when he had Shelob fight Elesh Norn he never paid the 1 and would’ve lost 2 life(which at the end of the game would’ve lost Him the match)

New to the game. With aragorn, if you have an ETB effect (ex: coiling oracle), does aragorn or the card you are going to cast trigger first? It would be cool of you cast coiling oracle and then were able to scry a land to the top with aragorn and then play it with the ETB effct, but i dont know how it works.

So there is a timing difference for casting and enter the battlefield effects. If something says "when you cast," that ability is triggered while the spell is on the stack. Therefore, before that spell even resolves, the triggered ability will resolve. Then, the spell resolves. If the spell has an ETB trigger, it will then hit the stack. So, sadly, your example of resolving Coiling Oracle's etb trigger BEFORE Aragorn's cast trigger doesn't work. It would go like this: Cast Coiling Oracle Aragorn triggers while Oracle is on the stack Resolve Aragorn's triggered ability (scry 1and give something +4+4 til EOT) Oracle then resolves Oracle's ETB trigger hits the stack Resolve Oracle's ETB trigger Thanks for asking about that sort of thing though!

Kovacs could have won if he used Metallurgic Summons to rebuy all of his Instants and Sorceries thanks to Blind Obedience. I think Just playing Dark Ritual into Consider would have been good enough.
