I agree wholeheartedly, the music written for the first trilogy of movies by Jackson is among the best soundtracks composed. All one has to do is watch the clip on KZbin of the ending of Star Wars without the music to understand the importance of great quality music in film making.

I'm working on a repetitive but very detailed project and I need soul soothing sounds to help me make it through. The LOTR music speaks to me in a way that makes me long and yet hope and lifts me up every time I hear it. I am listening to Rivendell right now and it is bringing me such peace, I would be happy to spend eternity in its halls. The Lord of the Rings Online is really an amazing game with the full support of both the Tolkien Estate and the Studio archives. The music is just a sample of the amazing content created and I seriously wish it would receive a graphics overhaul and keep the core mechanics, map, etc. the same for a new generation of fans.
