The majestic gait of the bull, tiger, elephant and lion
Are no comparison to His lovely stride,
We have not seen such a One anywhere in this world
Our Mithila is indeed blessed!
03. dEviyum dEvanum uNarvinAl kalandanar
shiva dhanusai uDaitthu sIthaiyai maNandAn
uvagaiyaDaindadu mithilai nagaramE
migaiyilaiyidu sonnadu silavE || ga ||
The Lord and the Goddess (Sri Rama and Sita) merged in their hearts
He broke Shiva’s bow and wedded Sita Devi
The whole city of Mithila attained immense joy

Here is my detailed comment as promised to the artists. 🖊️ You have managed to transform a regular Tamil song into something stupendous by incorporating the Gana Pancha ratna swaras in it.👍 The singer and the team of musicians have added glamour and glitter to the song by their combined effort. Your Abhinayam is very good and extremely sensitive. 👌 Here are some technical points I want to highlight to you. The MangaL sootram aka Thaali is never worn outside the dress so as to be visible to everyone. Sita stands showing her back to Rama ( and to the audience as well) when He is bending and breaking the Shiva Dhanusu. Actually Sita must have been very eager -all eyes and ears- praying that Rama succeeds in the contest. According to the body language showing one's back means indifference and lack of interest in the happenings. I don't see why Rama has to hold His bow above the level of His head. Any weapon held high signifies an imminent attack. I take the liberty of registering my honest comments since I had taught Classical Bharata naatyam for nearly four decades. Good luck to you both. 🍀❤🍀 I am going to look for the uploads of your other performances and watch them.👍
