I know she’s part of the High Damage/High Health epidemic, but I truly do think ABA was the best addition this season. She’s a very unique play style with extremely defined strengths and very transparent weakness. And most importantly, it is very funny both to bully people as her and bully her back

I mean technically she can gain meter passively by using frenzy and astonishment on projectiles. That's actually one of her best and safest ways to gain meter. Plus it's a damage negator/parry. Anytime someone throws out a projectile (especially at long range or medium range) that's free meter.

Your eyes are pretty red ... if they feel dry I recommend a humidifier! I use an ultra sonic one without issue. Air gets dry quickly when heated.

What's your opinion on the Form Exit screen pause? Cheap or justified? And what changes could you see being made to it to make it less of a "free action"? Talking about situations like 15:14 where you can see the Youzansen coming.

Imo it’s justified because the opponent almost always has the advantage. It’s similar to fighting nago where the only way for aba or nago to avoid ”popping”/uninstalling is hold FD until your out of meter. In the situation at 15:14 if the baiken was watching aba’s meter they could’ve waited for the form change then mix with high/low/delayed throw.

I got complained about mashing 2P almost everytime I play with people I know lmao. I think ABA is a good character, but definitely lopsided when it comes to competitively play. Thankfully I'm those jump in have fun players so not much of a problem. I want to play more Elphelt lately but she feels kinda linear, or I have no sauce... Dizzy was my rev2 character so I'm looking forward to gameplay reveal. Come to think of it despite falling in love with ABA in +R I do play summon characters like Rachel and Dizzy.

It's a shame that baiken struggles against Anji, because I think it's such a cool matchup like "in the lore" you know what I mean? Those small ressemblances between both characters, or their themes, or when Anji does his super and yells "WATCH THIS BAIKEN!!" you're like yeah, because they're together in the lore, I got that reference. Not that this _really_ matters because season 4 is just a month away, but personally, I find the risk reward of taking back your turn after your opponents block Nagiha (Fuujin>S) is moderately bad. Yeah you're safe is spaced out properly, but being -7 kinda forces me to just block afterwards. It could just be a playstyle thing, but I often respect opponents running up and starting their pressure. Mashing 2P is an ok option, but losses to people pre-emptively pressing FS or in Baiken's case H Kabari. And going for a spin often gets me thrown. Those are of course not the only options but you get the idea, if feels favorable for my opponent. Great video! I honestly felt so sad when you lost to that Anji in UMAD as well... Hopefully I get my rematch at WEMAD this winter!! I will be ready >:3
