Remember everyone! this game has armor _tints_ i found two so far, one is super easy to find as you go but the other is in the very first tutorial area. When the game gives you the jump tutorial and you are supposed to jump over a small gap, instead drop down and you can loot the tint. Tints are awesome because they let you make a mixed set look way more unified and complete. This game might have some of the best fashio0n souls I've ever seeming either a souls game ort souls-like game. Its awesome.

We need more armor like this in games, it seems like many developers are too afraid or perhaps lazy to make some more unique armors. We should be able to look just as unique and powerful as the bosses in fantasy games. Armor that changes the very shape of your character is something we don't see much of.

When I first saw the dispair and "invasion faction" armors I was hella impressed with how good that shit is. Like normally especially with the inferno enemies: games would give the excuse "It's not armor. It's embedded in their skin." LOTF said "You wanna look like an orc from LOTR? Here ya go!"

Only issue I have is the inconsistency of whether or not a helmet's visor is opaque or not. Comparing the thorned penitent and the helmet the avowed wear they are very similar helmets yet the avowed helmet you could your character's face clear as day through the eye and mouth holes unlike the thorned penitent. I mainly bring this up because I prefer helmet's visors that fully conceal the face as I personally feel it's more aesthetically pleasing and/or badass that way. Wish there would've been an option to turn it on or off when equipping it so everyone gets the version they want opaque visor or not.

I decided to get the Dark Crusader starting class for my first playthrough only because I wanted to start out with the “canon” armor and it looks really cool. Which is something I would of liked in ER if you could wear the Raging Wolf set or the Soul of Cinder armor for the Ashen One in DS3. At least in BB you can wear the set that the Good Hunter wears at the beginning of the game in the sewer area.

A lit of the other armours are modelled for male characters (with their body type fixed) or are some pieces of fabric. Or a dress. I wield a heavy axe or something like that, i cannot wear a princess gown.

Go to forsaken fen, the lamp where Byron is standing there. Go through the shortcut door to the right, and go into umbral. There will be a ladder to the left. Climb that mf and make your way through that area. There are two of them in that area. You should come out by the pit where the boss is. You can jump over to the other side and rest at the nearby lamp. Travel back to forsaken fen and repeat. Hopefully that's understandable lol, that's my favorite helmet in the game so I figured I'd try to help😎
