So, random story, but I have to share. I was in Lincoln City, Oregon this last week on vacation. I roll into a pizza place (shoutout to Tie Dye Pizza) for lunch and order. While the pizza is being made/cooked, I start chatting with the person working (I presume the owner) and the topic of homelessness in Portland gets brought up. As the conversation carries along, he starts talking about this KZbin channel he watches where they went to Oakland a couple weeks ago and he couldn't believe what he saw on the video. As he is telling me this, my gears start turning in my head, as I saw a similar video about a week before. Before I could say anything, he tells me it's a husband and wife that travels from city to city documenting it on KZbin. Joe & Nic. Whoa!!! That's the same channel I watch. So, yeah, small world. Thought that was funny. Also, I really enjoyed the pizza I had. If anybody is ever in Lincoln City, stop by there and order yourself a pizza.

Harlequin Productions puts on spectacular shows which many people have raved about. I highly recommend any visitor thats up for great live theatre to check out a show...you won't be disappointed. A few fun facts about the capitol building itself..our current one that is. The flags you saw in the four corners of the rotunda represent each of our 39 counties with King County being the largest where Seattle is located. The exterior of the dome does get cleaned usually every 3-5 years or so given the dingy look the moss and other elements that live upon it. The building is also modeled after our nations capitol in D.C.. We are also the only state in the country whose flags primary color is green which is fitting given we are The Evergreen State. As for restaurants in town, there are so many and the vast majority are very good places based on personal experience and from what friends of mine have told me. I am glad your dining experience was a good one. Thanks for visiting and I hope your visit was a positive one and that you will return in the future.

You should go visit Shelton since your so close! It's the Christmas tree capitol of the world. Neat place to visit is the high steel bridge.. Also Taylor Shellfish is there, alot of oysters and geoduck come from there.

Great video and commentary as usual. While in Washington try to include a trip thru the San Juan Islands on the ferry leaving from Anacortes. Visit either San Juan or Orcas for a day!

The reason the State Theater looked boarded up it is it was being renovated! Just reopened with a fabulous production of Cabaret that will run through the end of July. Harlequin puts on about seven shows a season.

Your screen shot depicts OUR local makers space OLYMEGA. It's not a blight, rather a gem! Folks who bark about the quality of life in America typically aren't in tune with the reality of OUR vibrant patch work. This video exemplifies that notion.

Looks like Annapolis west except Olympia is not nearly as old and is a bit of a dump. Pretty sad when they have to lock the dumpsters. WOW, the more I watch the less it seems like Annapolis west. I only said that because of the statehouse being near the water and all the boats.

Now I’m all caught up. LoL another great video. And if I were betting on population on these last 2 cities i would have lost definitely thought this would have a bigger population. Some of that art is pretty good even some of the graffiti now and then. Thanks for showing everything but do watch out for yourself in some of these places. That being said I’m sure you do a lot of research on these places before hand. Nice looking neighborhood you went through. But there’s definitely a crime problem there and it also looks like housing anywhere on the west coast is either high or extremely high. LoL. Good looking meals live that Cajun andouille sausage if that’s what it was and shrimp anytime with Cajun seasoning is pretty good. I’ll let you guys have the bourbon I’ll take my scotch lol. Looking forward to your next stop. Safe travels my friend. Keep filming and I’ll keep watching

It's sad to say, but we have a gang problem here along with a homelessness with drug problems as well. Tourism, especially in the spring and summer time, is a big bundle of money for these businesses. So they have to go out and clean up to make sure everything is beautiful to keep that money coming in. Washington is a beautiful state. some areas are getting corrupted in a bad way. But there is so much more beauty to Washington than just these little areas.
