Ur probably not be used to the boss yet, its typical of action focused rpgs like souls likes and sekiro, u need to understand he boss movesets to get no hit runs like this, crownless might be the hardest boss in the game at least in my opinion, he is fast and has some feints, also keep in mind its way easier to notice things with just one character compared with a full team where u might be swap cancelling

Another thing that you need: COMPOSURE. Its not hard to parry and dodge in the first few minute, dealing some damages here and there. But after you got hit few times, misses some attacks, health bar went to red, its hard to not get panic and start losing concentration. Then suddenly you lose the skill and starts into button mashing instead, my fight usually went like this lol
