If you truly hate scifi and mecha then the only reason you'd get this is for the Fromsoft brand. The games insanely fun and I've had actual mecha haters change their minds on the entire genre just by playing to one ending of this game though.

It's really good, but also really heavy on robot stuff; so it might not be your cup of tea.

If you get motion sickness, stay away from it. I tried it for half an hour, beat the first boss, but couldn’t continue afterwards, due to the camera and 360 degreee motion

Look, I have never played an AC game and never tried the mecha genre before, but I am absolutely in love with this game for its gameplay, customization, and overall engaging mechanics. How do I say it... it's so different from Souls games but in certain aspects it's...better? It is challenging but in a different way from Souls games. All I know is FromSoft are truly masters of their craft at this point, I would trust them no matter what type of game they realize. They have proven time and time again that they are the undisputed best developers out there at the moment. So I would advise to at least try it and give it a chance!! If you don't like the game you can always refund. Otherwise, you might want to wait for a sale, or buy a used copy! I just ask for you to support the devs, FromSoft are among the few ones that truly deserve all the love we can give them.
