Well, I beg to differ with DAK on the Wood has to look like that. It wouldn't take too much Time and Effort for a Wastelander or Weapon Vendor Shops to Sand or File, apply some Old Fashion Made Boiled Linseed Oil and Beeswax, maybe with wee bit of Ground Mustard Seed Powder, or something else as to add a little Color to the Wax. I use Natural Homemade and Naturally acquired Oils and Waxes on Wood all the Time. Natural and Naturally acquired Oils and Waxes stand up to a lot of abuse and can last very long periods of time.

I somehow never connected Hipster and Default Institute Design. The base-game blasters just seemed to be uninspired square hunks. Bethesda indeed could have tooled-up some new reload mechanics/anims. at the least.

Bethesda, the old games were not like that, Bethesda is obsessed with the 1950s to a point that they removed everything that didnt look 1950s enough and made guns even bulkier which is the reason everyone hates the assault rifle and the institute weapons.

Why is every mod weapon I come across made in the Chemistry Station? This makes no sense and breaks immersion. While there is an element of chemistry where function is concerned, assembly is all mechanical. Why not have weapons be assembled and modified at the Weapon Workbench? Don't get me wrong, these are great mods and all have their place in the game, but weapons and even armor sets made at the Chemistry Station just doesn't compute. There should really be a patch that works a number of mod armors and weapons into the Crafting Workbenches mod. Chemistry + weapon/armor/clothing assembly = broken immersion.

Because unfortunately the weapon workbench is for modifying weapons, not creating items. You would have to heavily modify the workbench to allow it, which is why most modders put it in the chem workbench. There are mods to either change the name to make it more fitting and not have “chemical” in its name, or mods that add a custom universal workbench that allows this and not clutter the chem workbench.

Is there any reason your not covering Fallout London at all? would of loved to see a weapon review or something at least from you. Seems odd for mod focused creator to completely ignore what is arguably the biggest mod ever for Fo4, possibly even any game.

It takes over your entire game and its a pain in the ass to install and uninstall.

It took me like 20 minutes to completely install manually (including downgrading Fo4) or litrrally takes 30 seconds if your willing to pay 10 quid. and uninstalling it is as simple as just delete all files in Fo4s Folder, or swapping load orders like most people who have multiple load orders would do on a regular.
