@@Necrit It could just be a mutated scuttlecrab like the Rift Herald, seeing as how resilient and docile scuttle is in-game, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume people would have domesticated them. As for its size increase, it seems certain isles creatures like Rhasa grow bigger as they consume the living/souls. Thresh and Hecarim are also a bit larger when compared to normal soldiers (or to Lucian in the recent cinematic).

Necrit Beast of Burden doesn’t mean it was a pain in the ass for them to deal with cause it attacked people or whatever, It means they used it to help them do stuff, like how people use donkeys to help carry stuff

at 22:40 when the quote says "Beast of burden" it does not mean that the beast was a burden to the long-forgotten civilization, but that it was a beast that carried their burdens. A beast of burden is like a pack-mule or a donkey, rather than a hungry tiger or bear. This explains why the scuttlegeist picks things up and carries them on it's back, it was probably used to doing that its entire life before the ruination.

Elise gets protection from the spirit s she has damned (well *more* protection as I would assume her own powers and Vilemaw should be enough to fend off any newly formed undead) and Thresh gets a fresh batch of doomed souls to torture to his hollowed heart's content.

I don't think the ruined king was Noxian.I think its more likely he was shuriman or perhaps even the ancient nation of Faraj(i did some digging), The first thing of note is that Noxus as we know it was not formed until after the ruined kings birth and the succesive ruination. The second is that tucked at the bottom of the bork wiki is a note stating that the ruined king ruled over the Argent throne in "South Western Valoran"- THis would mean either the old nation of Faraj and consequently Shurima, or Targon, which could fit just as well considering the name Argent throne, which is a word for silvery or pale, often used in tandem to describe the moon, so perhaps the Ruined king existed as ruler of Targon during a lunar age of gods or as emperor of Shurima pre founding of noxus- this would also tie together with his lore as his wife was poisoned by an assasins blade meant for him, and we all know shurima had many enemies. The ruined king was(according to the wikitimeline) born almost 100 years before the noxian empire, yet after mordekaisers 2nd crusade, and what we know of his people, though limited, does not fit with mordekaisers culture, which was made up primarily of savage tribes.

No, a beast of burden means it's a beast that does physical labor. Real world examples would be things like Oxen pulling a plow to help so a field. So, people burden the beast, not the other way around. Except in the Soviet Shadow Isles.

I think why the Soul Shepherd doesn' t look undead is that it is in the viewpoint of the spirit looking at her. If you will recall Kalista' story "Invocation", the narrative contains: "Through their bond, the sword-wife saw her differently, glimpsing the noble warrior she had been in life: tall and proud, her armor gleaming." This was the moment the sword-wife accepted the bond with Kalista. Seeing that the Soul Shepherd has many souls following her, it is possible that there is also a bond that connects them. The spirits bonded with her would be highly probable to view her the same way the sword-wife viewed the glorified Kalista.

Hey Necrit! I'm quite new here but I haven't seen anybody pointed it out so here I go! In the Arachnoid Sentry the spider can't be Elise since in the Arachnoid Host there is the guy absolutely terrified and at the back (at the door) there is a pleased Elise. I think it's the second picture because it has the same background as the Sentry and we can understand the poor foes fear at Elise's picture.

Recalling the scuttlegeist. Beast of burden is a saying used for animals that are supposed to carry burdens, like when horses pull plows or carts. So the scuttlegeist wasnt a burden to the kingdom, it once simply just was a work animal.

Scuttlegeist being a beast of burden can mean many things. It can mean that it was a pet of some kind, i mean it probably was a harmless Scuttlecrab, or as one person mentioned bellow, it could mean that it was used to help everyday's labors, or what you said in the video. One thing I think you missed is with the scuttlegeist. A beast of burden is an animal that works for humans (dogs, mules, horses etc). Meaning that blessed isles humans used to use giant crabs for labour.
