Not going to lie, these are awesome videos for me to fall asleep to when I’m feeling anxious and struggling to sleep. They are pretty good ASMR, your story telling is awesome and they help me chill out and eventually sleep.

His mic is of quality we have come to expect, his clarity of voice and ability to understand what it is that he's saying is great. And ofcourse his ability to coalesce a long in depth story to shorter one without losing the effect of the story is bar none. My go to source for all things Tolkien related

Aure Entuluva!!!! It would be fantastic if it could be realized as written but I don't trust any production company to do it right now. I'd rather never see it come to life than have it changed in any way

Really enjoying the lore videos recently as they are linked together and I love the idea of doing an episode devoted to the battle next that would tie in all the stories of the last months together. Keep it up Galu.

Hurin Thalion is just a non stop badass. Literally at one point it's Hurin alone vs. Morgoth's entire army, and yet he fights on like a boss. I'm shocked he could fight so well, without tripping over his enormous cock. Then he is dragged before Evil Incarnate himself, and tells him to his face, to eat shit. Pure Chad!

This is a superb video, maybe the best yet - I managed to learn a few new aspects of this tale, and I hugely enjoyed your analysis when delving into the thought process of Christopher Tolkien of how the stories were collated / evolved over time.

Hey Arachîr, any chance you can do some deep dive lore videos on the forests of Middle Earth? They’re my favourite places in Tolkien’s world and I’d love to know all about Mirkwood, the Old Forest etc, thank you!

great video! love this so much. I'm currently writing a script for The Fall of Gondolin, and I'm torn between doing a prologue of the founding of Gondolin or the prologue of the Nirnaeth Anorediad... It would be sick to see the army of Gondolin come out onto the battlefield and establish the connection between Tuor and Turgon through Huor. But at the same time, I think it's important to establish why Vinyamar is abandoned and that Gondolin is a secret kingdom. I don't think to have both scenes in the script would benefit the audience watching or reading because the story after all is about the FALL of Gondolin, and not its particular founding and its deeds in battle. I went with the founding of Gondolin, but perhaps I'll have to write an alternative prologue with the Nirnaeth Anorediad.

In Lord the rings we got impression man are getting stronger while other weaker in time. But in the First Age, some Edain can be captain of Noldor unit. With the deeds of Húrin, make me think even men get significant weaker compare to their ancestor.

Hi Arachîr, I remember you saying in one of your Lorecasts that you will give people access to lore videos you deleted, is that still the case? I love all of them, very informative and easy to understand even with the numerous names that are thrown out there!

I seem to recall more origin/first agey videos than I can find in the current lore playlist. Am I going mad or have you thinned the lore videos out a bit?
Good stuff but the plan wasn't to wait until the orcs had spent themselves it was to wait until the Army of Maedhros could be seen and the beacon was lit.

Would have liked to have heard a little bit more analysis as to what the point of Tolkien's stories were what they were. For me the Children of Hurin is the saddest story I have ever read. There has to be a point to this tragedy otherwise the characters' suffering was for nought

There is no message in Tolkien's works. He talks about this a few times. There needn't be a message in everything you know. Life is for your own interpretation.

@ I believe there is always something to learn from his works. Are you saying what we learn is purely up to our interpretation of the story?
