Same for me man, funnily enough. 40k gave me something to look forward to despite my circumstances. Eventually I healed (something impossible to imagine when it's fresh), and I came out of it with a love for 40k, a love for art and creativity, and even love for myself. You can do it bro 💪 and check Orks out, their perspective is refreshing 😎

Honestly, I think the T'au picked the perfect time to start building their Empire (well as perfect as it can be). If they started earlier they would have been curb stomped by the Great Crusade and if they started at a later time, they would be Tyranid food. Currently they are strong enough that big factions cant simply wipe them out without putting serious effod behind it but at the same time they are too small of a threat to actually attempt commiting those forces at wipping them out (the sweet spot). Not only that, but since every other big faction is straight up a murder hobo it makes recruiting others to their cause far easier than it would have been under other circumstances. All in all while it might seem like they were delt a shit hand, they actually managed to make the best out of a bad situation
