It's not better. It's just more relevant to today. The fact that Bjork wrote this song in 1997 for her own Icelandic landscape and since then it has been covered by major artists at many humanity events, just proves that the original version is so much powerful that it can transcend beyond its time and intention.

Uhm, how do you know what gaga gets more input in her music? all of the music that loreen does is straight from her heart and she is a great performer. She does not have to wear a meatdress or a frogoutfit to make a show, she just have to sing from her soul. Don't get me wrong, I love gaga, but - Loreen, she is amazing in a other way.

this is good! BUT I must say her emotion isn't like Björk's, Björk seems to put more emotion into the song not only cause she wrote it but cause there is a meaning to it. &Loreen sings with emotion as well, but not enough emotion. it's nice, but nothing special to me. even ane brun's cover of joga is more touching - maybe it's loreen's technique - she is a pop singer and pop singers are always stuck to a certain sound (if you know what i mean). maybe should give it another try not following the rules of "right" singing but following the sound her heart tells her
