This woman captures something so very magical in both musical and cultural realms. I am haunted by her voice, her music and the lyrical context of her songs. As a musician of similar tastes (and with few opportunities to express them) there is little I would not give for the privilege to contribute my talents to her ensemble as a multi instrumentalist and vocalist. I am nonetheless thrilled to simply listen to her music. I am particularly fond of her Nights from the Alhambra recording. Highly inspiring to these ears. Please live forever so that you can continue giving us something that, as Canadians, we can all be so very proud of.

Lorena is a great artist whose music combines Eastern and Western in a wonderful way. Her voice is one of the most wonderful voices that attracts the heart. I have been listening to her since 2001 and more. Every so often I come back to listen to her. Today we are at the beginning of the month of the year 2025.

We went to two of Loreena's concerts in the Netherlands in april 2024. The concerts were both marvelous. Beautiful songs, fabulous voice of Loreena and great musicans. Loreena McKennitt is the best.
