I lost two first cousins in 2020, and the husband of one, to Covid. Now, in all, in March of 2023, I’ve lost 24 family and 11 friends. I have just seen this, and it makes me glad to be a beloved child, husband, father, and grandfather. I have listened to your art since you began to share your gifts with us and Father, Son, and Holy Spirit willing, I will continue.

Lorena, Thank you for your message. I have been a fan for 30 some odd years. I am a farmer from Minnesota, when my children were growing up we often traveled to horse and cattle shows. We would listen to your CDs and my daughters would sing along. Very happy memories. I have survived two bouts of stage four oral cancer, I want you to know your music sustained me and my faith thru those dark times. I so appreciate your creativity and talent. My wife and I suffered thru this holiday season and celebrated alone, because of pandemic. This is first time in my 64 years I did not spend Christmas with family. I'm proud to follow your work since 1994. It has been a privilege to ear and enjoy your music for 26 years. My father was blind, and sometimes, when I was listening to your music, he said many times that maybe you were an angel on earth. I remember telling him that you were indeed an angel. He agreed. He said, I love this voice, music and all the sounds. Makes me remember when I saw, in my early years, walking through the fields. Thank you for being such an inspiration to many people. You need to know that you and your music inspire people. I think I'll be one of those "happy" to pass this illness symptom free - I really don't have any, aside from mild throat clearing which is with me for ages any way. My brother's wife had to be hospitalized, but now she's well and back to work :-) So either we are lucky or we face some strain that's not that "dirty". Yes, I surely can confirm that music is for me, also, the almost perfect medicine, better than all these vitamins I'm swallowing now. And it goes without saying that Loreena's music is among the best in this.
