I would have asked one of those cooks what else they knew how to do. Just because they're all scared of Sookie, doesn't mean they don't know how she does things.

The strangest thing is that Luke owners a fast food while he is actually a very health-conscious person who is really good at cooking health and sophisticated food (for ex. When he cooks at home for Lorelai)..

Luke's secret master chef skills. I bet he travelled and worked in a fancy kitchen for a couple of years before he returned to turn his dad's hardware store into a restaurant. That where he got his obsession with health food and anti-colonialism. His past life we never learn about, before his dad's death.

He probably helped his mom in the kitchen when he was little and loves to cook with her.

Luke is touching that phone with his barehand and then touching food after. That's a definite no-no.

I'm actually listening to a podcast, Scott Patterson is watching and discussing the show with guests, and one episode he talked to the dialogue coach that was brought in.

I also watched an interview with Amy Palladino & she said the secret for all the fast dialogues was edition! She said they used to speed up a little bit through the edition so they could fit everything in 45 min per episode 😮🤯
