For anyone wanting to know the story: Once out of sadness a beautiful woman named Lorelei, through herself into the Rhine river after her lover was unfaithful, and turned into a siren, she sad on her rock and would sing louring fishing boats and ships, they would then crash into the rock she sat on. she was captured and convicted of witchcraft and murder, the people threw her off a cliff and there, she fell to her death. her name was also spelled Loreley, Lorelai, and Loreali

The legend of the Lorelei of the rhine river is actually a tale to explain the many ships sinking there (sharp curve with a high cliff). My father is a german boatsman. Once we went there and he told me, the reason is actually a very strong current and the flat water. There were also dangerous rocks, but they have been removed in modern times.

The series is called Medieval Chaos and it's basically about the Sims Medieval grim reaper in the Sims 4, except I'm using mods to make sims 4 be more medieval so that it's not taking place in the present. It's supposed to be hilarious, spooky and epic all at the same time.

I know the Rhine river and the river ima bout to about are different but hear me out; Once long ago in the Savanna river, a boat came in and the captain met a beautiful woman, soon he had to leave and said he would come back for her, so she would chain her dog to a rock so he would bark every time he saw a ship, when she heard him bark she would go outside and wave a rag even though her brother didn't trust him, after many years she gave up and died soon after, they say she died from a broken heart. the rock where she tied her dog is now where her statue stands. I went to Savanna awhile ago and there was many ghost stories this was one of them :)

OK I AM SICK OF CORRECTING PEOPLE. This is a song sung by a Celtic band but its a German folk tail. The original story is about a woman who's husband died at sea. One day while walking along Loreley rock in the river Rhine she seen her husband bellow the surface of the river and through herself into the river to be with her love who she missed so dearly. That is why its called loreley rock. Please fact check yourselfes before you comment.

Sirens are half bird half woman, mermaids are half fish half woman. Sirens were located by lonely sea shores where they sung and then flew down and snatched their prey, while mermaids lived in every part of the seas where they sang and then drowned their prey. Big difference. This is talking about the sea and therefore mermaids.
