The thing about Leon that people don't know is he is alone he has no one. His girlfriend left him before racoon city, the friends he was going to make at the RPD all died as he arrived and some in front of him. In resident evil 4 he was alone until he had ashley but rejects her. Clare basically argued and ditched him at the end of re 2. The only one he knows is Ada who always pushes him away it's quite sad.

Claire goes to find Chris leaving Sheery with Leon despite both needing medical attention it's in the epilogue of re3. Re2 and 3 remakes don't cover it. Some say the thing doesn't translate well but Capcom says otherwise either way, Leon gets annoyed and basically tells her to go and take a hike at that point he had already been abandoned or lost everyone he loved so his reaction was understandable it's what prompted me to write this comment initially.

After that, I always tried to play thru RE games without the guide as much as possible before using the guide to “look up the answer”. That way the shock value is there.

Tbh, Leon is probably around 6 foot and likely close to 200 lbs if not more. Japanese weight estimations of Americans are usually highly inaccurate due to large differences in body types and bone structures that Japanese people just don’t have.
