Loretta, Thank you for sharing your God-given gifts with the community. Your life force is strong. Your spirit has carried you through the joys and pain of life. Of course, you can't know the immensity of the impact and influence you've had on this earth. Only God can comprehend that.

Was so incredibly blessed to have seen her this weekend! Loretta, God has blessed you with a long life here on earth as you have been an amazing vessel for His testimony in this world. I look forward to seeing you and your sweet family sing again. Thank you for singing this song that I requested as you were asking the audience. You are sharp as a tack, witty and exude the love and peace of our Lord. God bless you and your family. :)

Full circle is correct because Loretta sounded great in her younger years and she sounds great NOW. Hope she keeps writing songs because she hits the mark on how I see things.

That song is so true and has folk roots to it too. I know there is turmoil on this earth and bad things, horrible things but there is also good and fun things to do and enjoyment but we all have to leave it and hopefully go to Heaven. I sure do love Earth. Better enjoy earthly things God has given us, like a good concert or a pizza or a good movie. There will be none of that once we die but I hope there are much better things in God's great design of things. I will enjoy here while I can but hope I too make it to heaven.

This CD is my number one in my player going to and from my job and with my time allowed at my job I put my mp3 in and again this is still my go to music and all of Loretta Lynn's former hits. Nothing compares if you like real country. I still can't hear enough of it although hearing so many times over. With all that stated I think I admire the performer even more than the music....I think that is greatest compliment one can give.

@robyfox29 жыл бұрын
+Martin Ward Why would you want to compare the two? It's fifty years later and another version. I can respect your opinion not to like it. But to call it embarassing is just rude and mean spirited.
@martinward109 жыл бұрын
My point was that she should be recording more new material and not singing the same songs she did in the 70s. Her voice today can't compete when u have the old material to compare. In my opinion, Loretta Lynn is the greatest artist there has ever been in any musical genre and I wanted to hear new songs. So sorry you don't like my opinion but I'm not going to blow smoke up anyone's ass blindly just because I'm a super fan. Did van Lear rose contain any remakes? No but it was one of the greatest albums she's ever put out and she was 70 then.
@waynelivingstone85829 жыл бұрын
+Martin Ward sorry guys but I have to agree with Martin. I have been a Loretta Lynn fan since she started singing in 1960 loved her then and love her now. But I would like to hear some more new material from her. I can't help to compare her voice when she sings her old songs. So far I heard three songs of her new album and I like two of them. Everybody wants to go to heaven wasn't as good as in the past. Martin, Van Lear was a Hell of a album She won two Grammy's for it. I know Loretta has it in her to write new material and yes she is the greatest artist all around.
@robyfox29 жыл бұрын
Guys. the name of the album is Full Circle. It includes old mountain songs, New versions of old hits, and new material as well. If you've gone to her concerts recently, this is how she sounds now. Many of us love to hear her sing those old hits, as she does in every show. And it's nice to have a new album with a few of those singing just the way she sings them today. To me it's just not something to compare to the way she sounded in her younger days. It's different, sure. But it's Loretta as she is today. I respect everyone's opinion. My original comment was simply that it was rude to call it embarrassing. I never said you didn't have a right to your opinion.
