Easy Crochet Doily Part 2!!

In this sixth video for the GRANNY CIRCLE ALONG
I show you how to block my 10 round doily using the Bee in my Bonnet Blocking Board.
Each Doily is made using the Granny Circle from my first tutorial in the series as a base.
I am using 100% Cotton yarn called CHUNKY THREAD
I have been having fun making lots of doilies using many combinations of colors from the CHUNKY THREAD YARN collection.
In this video after showing you how to block your doilies I give you a few ideas on how to finish them into a hoop and also how to use them in your cozy crochet home decor:)

My Mom and sister made lots of doilies when I was a kid, but never on hoops. Such a cute idea. I was not interested in crocheting then, but I am hoping to learn this year. Your doilies are beautiful! In the 70s, my mother would make hers with cotton yarn and they were yellow or a variegated purple. It appears that your doily or mandala that is on the green wooden base, in this video, about 11:52, is a bit different than the mandala we made with you in a previous video. Would you mind sharing with us the stitches you used, please? Thank you so much for sharing your videos and techniques with us!! 😊
