Hey! The first time I traveled alone, I was only 9 years old! My flight was from Cebu all the way to Las Vegas and the PAL flight attendant that was assigned to me literally forgot about me and i was almost left behind in Vancouver since we had a stop over there lol been traveling alone ever since and I'm already 23. It's literally the most liberating feeling :) Have a safe flight and enjoy!!

That is literally one of my worst fears. I travel a lot as well, mainly in Europe with my friends and family so I've always been dependent on others when traveling. I can't imagine getting left behind by my flight, alone. I would have a full mental breakdown! It always amazes me how people manage to travel alone and not get stressed out 90% of the time. Kudos to you!!

It's very strict if you travel alone especially minor. If you are from US going abroad you can't travel alone. They need to contact the airlines that you needed someone from them to see to it somebody will pick you up from your family or friends.

I let my daughter travel alone too when she was 15 yrs old. I was the one nervous that she might miss her connection and all but she even took the train by herself. The new generations now are bolder and daring when it comes to having their independence. I am really amazed .

It was fun for me travelling overseas alone since I was 13 years old. My parents were always nervous, but I'm an outgoing student and was involved in several school clubs and other programs that sent students to different places. My one tip is just always ask questions... Ask anybody and everybody in the airport wearing a uniform and you'll be fine (chances are you'll eventually find someone who could speak English).

My son traveled from Qatar to Philippines alone via Qatar Airways @6 yrs old. I get this is different though since she'll really do all the airport processes alone not with a help of an F.A unlike an Unaccompanied Minor service. Good job!
