I saw them live at their "christmas show" last weekend and they ended their set with this trilogy...fucking phenomenal. The entire set was amazing but then these three as a conclusion was epic. Enjoyed your reactions to this and hellfire and look forward to the next two parts As for recommendations, have three: 1. Alkaline - Sleep Token. I saw a bunch of recommendations for Will's cover of Hypnosis (which is great), but the the band itself deserves to be checked out imo 2. Hostage - Chelsea Grin (the live version). Their current vocalist Tom Barber was the original vocalist of Lorna Shore 3. Summit of Dragons - Sold Soul. I just came across this band recently and the new album slaps

Just a quick note though, Pain Remains(the album) is a concept album about someone who hates their life so dives into lucid dreaming(to be brief). If you go to the album description on Apple Music, you can see what each song represents, but I thought I'd post the trilogy here so you have a better picture going in to parts 2 & 3. On the album as a whole : “I wanted to write an adventure that starts with the first song and ends almost back at the beginning with the last song,” he explains. Inspired by some of his favorite anime and manga, Pain Remains is a concept album that takes place in a dreamworld created by someone who wants to escape their reality. “A lot of deathcore albums are about anger and ‘fuck this, fuck that’-very monotone,” Ramos notes. “I wanted to do something that creates an emotion that, maybe, you haven’t felt in a long time.” Pain trilogy : “Pain Remains I: Dancing Like Flames” “I used to have dreams where I would have this fantastic relationship with somebody, and I can’t even tell who this person is at all because that’s how dreams are. Unfortunately, you can’t make out a lot of things-dreams are so vague. But in your mind, it makes sense. You’re falling in love, and then you’ll wake up from the dream and be like, ‘Shit, that never really happened at all. This sucks.’ In the story, the character has a moment like this. They begin to love in their dreams, which returns meaning to their dreamworld. But they can’t quite find solace.” “Pain Remains II: After All I’ve Done, I’ll Disappear” “He’s beginning to realize that, after everything, he’s at the end of this whole world he made. The ending is a bittersweet tragedy.” I see you've done the Hellfire one-take, but I'd highly suggest the And I Return to Nothingness one-take. It's probably my favorite of the three. He is good but I think he should be silenced due to his actions towards women. Google if you don't know. One very big reactor with massive footsteps in the actual music industry skipped the Immortal album due to what he did several times towards women. I cannot separate the artist from person regards to him and a cpl of other artists.
