Lorne deserves every single ounce of pride for that power move. Absolute genius.

really appreciate the video clip with the "visualization" in question above it. Helps set the scene better than just the audio.

Lorne Lanning talks at a billion miles per hour, but there is an enormous amount of weight to every single word he says.

And I was o bummed out, when the final product came out. To this day neither Oddworld inc, nor any other person introduced such a crafty interactive gem of gameplay. TO THIS DAY!

@@eKoush The story of why we didn't get that is sad in retrospect because of how much story and depth we missed.

Man I wish they make more games that looked just like the ones that are from the visualization videos.
@eKoush5 жыл бұрын
They never made one. The visualization videos show game mechanics and ideas, that were never ever implemented in any game, which is just sad.

The final product is nothing compared to what the teasers conveyed. I have no idea how he thinks this is a "success" story. The teaser made a case for a great successor true to the original games, with incredible features, each and everyone of them not being introduced into the final game. Which was a absolutely pale compared to the interaction in the teasers. I don't get it.

The "success" is having the company survive to make the game at all. Whether or not the game budgeted well, the ability to stay in business after what they're business "partners" were doing was the success in and of itself.
