Great scene that represented an awesome turnaround for Lorraine.

@@charlotte33072Nah definitely brilliant. You’re jealous of her like you’re jealous Noah Hawley’s success, which is why you comment on all the clips of Fargo. You’re ironically a hater who wastes their time watching the show’s clips on youtube.

Thank you. The actor and the character were both weak, when they did her scenes with her husband, I found myself wanting to fast forward. I could care less if they stayed together or not

Dude you literally just watched a scene where she convinces the MIL to change her mind about Dorothy. If you can’t see how pivotal this scene is, just quit watching television.

This season sucks. The beauty of the early seasons was the fact that there were no one dimensional characters, this season is full of them

This is the literal scene that makes Lorraine three dimensional lmao There were so one dimensional characters in other seasons. What do you call Mr Wrench, Mr. Numbers, The Police Chief?

There's nothing wrong with finding this season a bit subpar, or making an argument against one dimensional characters. I'm just not sure if _that_ is the difference between this season, and earlier ones, that explains your feelings of disappointment. There might be some element of it in there, but you have to try and get to the heart of why you see it as a problem. Because Lucas is right, there are always one dimensional characters in Fargo. If that's the aspect that you dislike, you have to dig a little deeper and tell us why it drags this season down... in your opinion. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that you haven't actually told us why you feel that way. 😅I can't disagree, if you don't finish telling me what you think.

Most of the character’s in the earlier season were pretty one-dimensional. I’d argue the character’s this season are less dimensional. You think Lorraine is some one-dimensional rich snobbish Villain like Varga , but she shows she cares for her family; even Dorothy. She breaks that stereotype of being just another Wall Street\ Devil Wears Prada type who just hates people with ruthless intent. Dorothy isn’t motivated by ambition like Lester or Peggy or Ray and Nikki. Her character actually likes her life as it is, past seasons were about characters making actions to change their lives, Dorothy is protecting the life she has. Every season given us the routine of characters who make decisions that befoul consequences for them and everyone around them. This season gave us a character who just wants a normal life with their family. Roy Tillman is interesting as a Villian, he’s not acquiring territory like Varga or Mike. His character’s motivation is obsession, while most of the villains in Fargo are defined career criminals when the show starts. Roy is a respected sheriff who progressively cracks under his old blind ways when he’s faced with the fact the woman he loves rejects him for the monster he is and when the same monster is mocked and rejected at an electoral debate. He’s an interesting Villian as he progressively unravels during the season. Ole Munch is probably everyone’s favourite based on what I’ve read. His character is ultimately everyone’s favourite because of his mysticism. Is he just a strange man or a force of nature? Why did he sneak into a random old lady’s house? His character feels like a force of nature, his actions are unpredictable and he’s speaks cryptically so no one can really understand what he’s really saying or meaning. Honestly he’s probably the most three dimensional character, especially when he saves the life of the same woman who hurt him and that he tried to kidnap earlier on. I disagree with the idea that character’s this season are one dimensional as opposed to past seasons. When the characters this season are far more complex for you to understand.
