I must have a problem. This song and video draws me back time and time again. Lorrie is so outstanding, The Wilsons gave so much love. Mike Love was in awe. Talent will always rule. This song and video means so such to me ThaNK YOU ALL.

My friends and I played the Beach Boys every time we went surfing in South West England as teenagers in the 80's. I always loved Don't Worry Baby but I only discovered Lorries version recently on You Tube and I can't stop playing it- fantastic version and she is so hot!

I keep coming back to this video. It is amazing. The Beach Boys gave Lorrie all the respect in the world. You can see the respect and admiration in their eyes. In the end it' s about the song. The BB' s were and are the best at Americana. But add Lorrie, OMG. Doesn' t get better than this.

Brian Wilson is 78 today.He and Roger Christian wrote it and the Beach Boys put it on their 5th.album,1964's Shut Down,Vol.2.To me,this is the greatest car/love song of all time[and maybe the only one].There are greater videos of this song on YT,but this one has the dialog on it.Carl was still alive when this was done,also.The pics of him and Brian together are priceless.

Just watched it again. I keep coming back to certain vids> This is one. Take the most beautiful women in country music that can actually sing, and combine her with the beach boys, OH well> History. I respect the way Mike Love looks at Lorrie during this song> it s Admoration. She also looks at them the same way. These people are pro s but above all, they are about the music.

The fourth man - one of the background singers is Matt Jardine...one of Al Jardine's sons. Al also is in the video around 2:43 and Mattt around 0:42. Matt is very good with the high vocals and sounds very much like Brian Wilson. Matt is in Al Jardine's band...saw them at the Las Vegas Cannery Hotel/Casino earlier this year. They were very good.

Great Tune!!!!.... Had my '64 Chev. Impala SS when this was a big hit back in June of 1964.... It was on the charts for 6 weeks and got as high as 24.... You take this tune and play the original....it's hard to pick which one is better.... 5 part harmony-Eagles and The Beachboys, can't ask for anything better.... Thanks so much for the video.... too bad you can clean up the audio.....

If you liked this you should search for any of the cuts from the Beach Boy's "Stars and Stripes" album, which is now out of print. Each cut featured another country artist playing one of their classics. My favorite is Willie Nelson and "Warmth of the Sun."

Lorrie's rendition of this song is superb and should be at par with the original BB's version. I should say it became an instant hit here in Manila especially on RJTV every Sunday morning. It became one of the most requested videos every week i.e. every Sunday. See for yourself.

The music CD featuring Lorrie is called "Beach Boys - Stars and Stripes". on River North Records, released in 1996. I have the promo version with 6 tracks. I also have a VHS tape (now converted to DvD) of most of the TV special of Stars and Stripes. I presume it was released on DvD at some time, but I've never seen it for sale. Hope this helps.... To starr522, My thanks to you for your kind words. Thought you & the others should know: BW did not have the self confidence to do this vocal/ instrumental arrangement; it was Carl who did it. Both Netflix/ Blockbuster have the vid for rent: it's called " The BB's, Nashville Sounds", & there are 2 versions. The Longer, original, has Tammy Wynette doing a devestating version of " In MY Room"; it was her very last recording, ever, & it is gorgeous. Sadly, it's never been released. Wolfsky9

@brownsnake1984 Could be she is using a lyric sheet because they changed the wording like a girl was singing it. After knowing the original for so many years, it would be a struggle not to sing the original lyrics on accident. lol
