Los Alamitos High School Sound FX Wicked 2014 - 2015

Performed at the Performing Arts Center at Los Alamitos High School October 18, 2014.
Under the direction of David Moellenkamp and after only 6 weeks of school the National Champion Los Alamitos High School Choir put on an breathtaking Broadway show. This year there are 620 kids in seven different choirs
Jenna Rosen, a 15 year old, received a standing ovation in the middle of the performance for Defying Gravity.

I've seen WICKED 17 times, and this 15 year old girl is better then some Elphaba's I have seen. Wow.

I have to say that young girl Jenna is THE MOST talented singer I have ever heard at her age. I am very picky and there are many attempts to make defying gravity good. This was perfection. She just did the impossible. You are broadway ready. Audition for something. Get your equity card and start now. AMAZING!

That Elphaba's belt though! It took a while to adjust to 'cause I'm used to the normal version(and I'm super sad they left out Dancing Through Life), but the two lead vocals were outstanding, and I like that they gave the others more to sing, but there were so many extras that sometimes(especially in For Good and One Short Day) it was sort of confusing, but overall it was way better than most High School stuff.

Aww, kids you are out-stan-ding!!! The girl who played Glinda was impressive!!! They both have great instruments. I won't be surprised if I see them on Broadway soon...if they're not there already. ;)

Oh my god I’ve never heard For good in a much more beautiful melody and Harmonies Even though Idina and Kristen are amazing when they sing this but when they are all singing this in this version it is so beautiful💚

My school did a profominc of wicked the musecl for the school talent show I was in we did all the songs from the musical it took us moths for us to do this propaer we did it for our jun show for the parents.
