Been addicted to flying and aircraft for decades! Nothing demonstrates the ingenuity and excellence of human effort than commercial airliners, in my estimation. So much on the line and pilots are at as much risk as passengers. With so much DARK and DEPRESSING in today's world, THIS is where I turn to rejuvenate and restore a positive outlook. The miracle of defying gravity...and looking MAGNIFICENT whilst at it! If I flew somewhere every single day...I'd never grow tired of it. Closer to God. Closer to appreciating that Mankind DOES have significant worth and extraordinary skills, despite what news-headlines tell us, each day.

Wow...some beautiful shots there and great editing. What was the plane with the extended nose cone...also what's with the American Airlines plane with the "TWA" logo? Some major airlines I didn't see (or missed): Thai, Turkish, Garuda, Sri Lankan, British Airways, SAS, Air India, Qatar, and China Southern.

I know the Asiana 380 and KE 380 land about 9:30 AM so this is a great time to be there for most of the international arrivals from Asia. I am quite sure they both leave ICN at about 2:30 and I'm almost 100% positive scheduled departure time is 5 minutes apart.

Wow...bbig like and subbed...what great variety...what great shooting...great editing puttting all this together...and what patience to stay at the lookout all day to capture these shots. It gets cold up there...I know...my wife and I live just a quarter mile away on the other side of main street in El Segundo. I spent many hours there capturing video to post on youtube. Your camera work is very good...steady. What camera do you use? What editing program do you use? Are you familiar with other places to spot and shoot from here locally? I can point out some other places to shoot from if you are interested. Thank you for sharing...well done, mate...very well done. Thanks for the like, My one and only visit to the USA and a better spotting point i cant think of, I found the roof top carpark covering the far runways , but only did still photos that day. Camera is a SONY-X70 , shot in HD, .now updated to 4K so my next visit will be interesting . Manfrotto mono pod for ground shots, and hand held for the takeoffs. Edited with Adobe Premier Pro-cc. This isn’t from 2016. It had to be from 2013-2015 because 1: US Airways is still there and merged with American in 2015 2: The new American Livery is taking place 3: Virgin America Merged with Alaska in 2018 4: a few retired planes come here.

No tripod used i had a Manfrotto monopod MVM500A for the ground shots and was hand held for all the flying shots.

Oddly enough, my name is Cairns and I worked at LAX until 2016. If this cool video was shot before October 15, 2016 between Tuesday-Saturday, I was there at the Tom Bradly International Terminal and I screened luggage that is on some of the planes you see here. None of them blew up, so I guess I did my job.
