Things will change a lot between now and the draft. I saw we had a great shot at the Boise State RB in Round 2, now mock drafts have him going off the board in the top 5 picks. I'd like to see that one change back. Getting that RB in Round 2 would be amazing, getting him at Pick 22 now seems like a stretch.

Getting that kind of splurge would be awesome but as everyone has said.. gotta have the 0-line for the rest of everything to work. That would be the best choice. The chargers coach wants to run the ball. I'd even trade Herbert for McCarthy if he's healthy. I get a lot of draft picks. Why have a great quarterback when you don't have any receivers. If the plan is to run the ball and play defense then get that kind of personnel.

@@LennyMolnar-rs8df I mean we clearly wont know, herbert is the best qb that harbaugh will have, and the offense is heavy on playaction now, so it is possible they go make splash plays for wide reciever prospects, and elevate the offense, the offense is def gonna be more balanced than run heavy, because herbert is a pocket passing qb who scrambles here and there, so they should ride with him. If they get rid of herbert, hes gonna go to an nfc team possibly and hes gonna win the playoffs first season especially if its the vikings, it takes so much pressure off of him having reliable weapons that he wont have to play hero ball and just play comfortbly, and I assure you most of the chargers fans are gonna leave with herbert.

Cut Bosa, Pipkins and Edwards and that takes the cap to about 100 million to spend . Sign Nagee Harris, Mekhi Benton and Kelly from the Colts to reinforce your line and build up the running back room. Let the rest of the free agents walk and use the draft and what money you have left for free agency

Being that this is Harbaugh and Hortiz's first season together, not sure they would spend so much on a player outside of a lineman or QB. However, I'm all in to trade/cut Bosa, unless Mack does not resign with the Bolts. I'm also not sure I would sign Metcalf as he seems to be more of an individual player vs a team player. If we could get him for a 4th round pick, I would trade for one year only. I think the Chargers top needs are: 1. Offensive Right Guard 2. Center 3. Tight End 4. Edge 5. Corner Back My thought is that we have a lot of draft capital and can fill a lot of these needs through the draft.

Mack is our #1 priority. I think we spend big on a guard before we addresses a wr/te. If we’re unable to do either, then that’s where our 1st pick is gong (unless Warren/ashanty or a CB1 is there). Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if we spent our 2nd on a rb and draft another. The lost to the Texans took us back to the drawing board. We’re not a wr away, but rather we are not a fundamental football team. We need better protection and pressure.

NOPE. Tee is NOT happening for the Boltz. BOOK IT. Too expensive for a Harbaugh offense. Need a TE. Remember Vernon Davis? They need a TE and another quality WRs. Bosa will negotiate down to retire a Charger, this pays for Mack and they want one more season together. OLine in free agency and maybe a trade for a solid WR. TE in the first round. Loveland and Warren will probably be gone, but I would be ecstatic with Harold Fannin Jr out of Bowling green. He ATE both Texas and Pitt. He was the best TE on the field in the Pitt game (Warren was the other). 1,550 yards as a TE this year.
