@DDSam: Only I can fully agreed your comment here. But sadly once you are outside the security- and gate-lounge areas, regarding "plane-spotting sadly most airports (CDG too) are very frustrating. Simply you need a boarding pass to get such nice airplane-shots. At least at most airports.

I have only flown on Air France once ...this same route back in early 2000. Im an Excavating Contractor...love "man-and-machine". Long flight but evryone was very nice. Yesteryear...I still remember my trip to Hawaii...1977, i was 23, I was living w/ a family on thier ranch, the couple I was staying with and working full time on the ranch...her dad was fairly well off and very kind....wanted to take evryone to the Kona Coast...including me...wow....I do remember the 747 was only 1/2 full of passengers...when fuel wasnt an issue. I was impressed.

I always walk around in the airport to see planes departing, arriving and preparing, and it makes me so excited. So, this video makes me feel as if I’m there. Still for me, besides the today,s much newer Airbus A350- and Boeing 787-Dreamliner, the Boeing 777-300ER (TripleSeven) remains also like one of my favourite twin-engined long-haul airliner. I feel very sad that this year Airbus stop it,s production of it,s mighty Airbus A380. While Air France allready finally said "Good Bye" to it,s Airbus A380 fleet in Spring of 2020, perhaps there,s a little chance that Lufthansa will re-activate at least a small part of it,s A380 fleet again. But to be honest. At the end, only the airlines of the Far East will fly it,s A380 for much more years. Like ASIANA, ETIHAD, EMIRATES, SINGAPORE, KOREAN AIR, u. v. a.

Oh how I hate flying out of LAX, OMG I hate LAX. Driving up there from Dana Point is hell cause the traffic is atrocious and it's so busy, hard to stop to drop off or pick up passengers. When I fly, I always try to book a flight out of John Wayne, so much closer to home and not too busy.

pourquoi jamais ? comme si il n'y avait pas eu assez de merde comme ça avec l'A380 la preuve ils ont déjà commencé à s'en débarrasser ! le 747-8 est un avion parfaitement fiable innovant luxueux et moderne et moins consommateur en kérosène que l'A380 soit 11% de moins que l'A380 et offre les coûts d'exploitation les plus bas ! mis à part le 787 sur air france et les A321 on a que des avions de merde en france alors ça suffit ça fait 4 ans que je les contacte pour leur dire de prendre des 747-8 alors qu'ils le prennent et qu'ils arrêtent d'acheter de la merde comme l'A350 ! déjà qu'ils ont fantasmé sur l'A380 des années et ben il a fini par se niquer leur A380 je suis bien content donc c'est le 747-8 !

Je vois que tu na rien compris au marché aérien depuis ces dernieres années. Plus aucune compagnie dans le monde ne commande de quadriréacteurs excepté en version cargo pour les compagnies fret (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Cargolux, AirbridgeCargo etc...) Pour le long courrier , les compagnies ne sont plus intéressés que par biréacteurs comme le B787, A350 , 777X et A330 NEO -moins cher -plus petits, -temps et coût d'entretien et d'exploitation moins élevé -plus économe en carburant -facile et rapide a mettre en œuvre -plus silencieux Et mêmes les appareils plus petit comme l'A321 NEO XLR cartonnent auprès les compagnies aériennes pour du long courrier pour remplacer les 757 et 767 , surtout pour le transatlantique Les stratégies du "point to point" sont de plus en plus privilégiées au détriment des grands hubs Les quadriréacteurs ne sont plus du tout rentables aujourd'hui , c'est un fait, point. Leur déclin a commencé au milieu des années 2000 et s'est accéléré ces 5 dernières années Et les compagnies low cost n'ont rien arrangés
