the stations at Willowbrook, Long Beach ave, and Norwalk are able to accommodate 3 car trains. I think the rest need platform extensions

If I’m not mistaken I think a few more can take 3 car trains like Lakewood Blvd but there isn’t enough ridership yet to instill the 3 car sets but if metro hasn’t done that already, I agree it should be prioritized!

I hope this helps to answer your question because I was curious, too. I did a little digging and discovered that LA Metro received $95 million in Calsta funding last year that will partially go to expanding the platforms on 4 of the C line stations: Aviation/LAX, Douglas, Mariposa, and Redondo Beach. Below is the full description of the project. LA Metro had asked for $142 million. The Project includes capital, operational, rehabilitation, and expansion (i.e., CORE) improvements for the Metro K (Crenshaw/LAX) Line and C (Green) Line light rail transit (LRT) lines that are necessary to accommodate and allow the operation of three‐car trains, including: platform expansion at Aviation/LAX, Douglas, Mariposa, and Redondo Beach stations; the addition of two new traction power substations (TPSS); replacement of the failing 30‐year‐old Overhead Catenary System (OCS) on Metro’s C Line; and replacement of wooden track ties at crossovers and rail fasteners at bridges, stations, and aerial structures on the C Line between Redondo Beach and Crenshaw stations.

​@TigerRailfan True, but that will change dramatically once the C line connects to the LAX People Mover. And Metro wants to be ready to run 3 car trains if it needs to to meet demand.

Will the K Line also be P2000s only? Is the plan to move all P3010 1200s to the A Line eventually as P2000s will be for C and K lines?

The K line may become P2000 only in the future if even more get refurbished, I think there will be at least some! The P3010ms would move to A line or E for sure

On the video's description, I think you made a mistake. You put "It also mostly runs between the lanes of the I-110 freeway...". You mean the I-105 Freeway. Please correct the mistake.
