Good call on these 86 Jets Richard. Started out a house of fire at 10-1. But got shallacked on MNF week 12 against the Dolphins and it all fell apart from there. Crippling injuries and a total team breakdown on both sides of the ball had them collapse to 10-6 losing their last 5 games but backing into the playoffs and actually beating KC big in the wildcard game. Should have beaten Cleveland in the Divisional round but we all know how that turned out.

another unusual broadcast. i mean, since '97- you can expect one or two jet match ups to wind up ON the nfc broadcast channel; now FOX. no NBC games of the jets posted here. their home network. over ten of the annual broadcasted games each year are gonna be on nbc until the last game played in the green helmets against the tampa bay buccaneers. where they exploded tampa. thwn came parcells, and cbs as the network of the afc. keith byars dropping a testaverde pass, and john elway taking brett favre's second consecutive superbowl away from him.

The Rams will lose 2 out of there next 3 to lose the division lead, losing to the 49ers on the last weekend of the regular season to finish 10-6, 2nd in NFC West and would have to settle for the NFC Wild Playoff Game at Washington and the Redskins would defeat the Rams 19-7
