12:02 sure non stop flights are tiring and boring but quicker. During the old days you could fly PR 107 from SFO to MNL with a Honolulu stopover. Either way it’s about 15 hours. Nowadays you can still do stopover flights that will cost more.

The new Italian flag carrier ITA Airways (Italia Transporto Aereo) under the Lufthansa Group is expanding routes to Southeast Asia from Rome Fiumicino, it will be to Bangkok in November and hopefully soon they'll be flying to Manila with the newest aircraft in their "Azzurri" livery meaning Metallic Blue in Italian and reconnected to Europe. Going to travel in December, it's Bonjour Paris 🗼 and will be taking the Premium Economy of Air France from Hong Kong to Paris Charles De Gaulle and witness the reopening of the famous Cathedral de Notre Dame restored after being destroyed by fire in 2019 and take the scenic cruise along the River Seine, hopefully Air France will once again mount direct flights to Manila very soon. @@PasyalTV I'll also be visiting a place in France 🇫🇷 where I've never been before it's on the Normandy coast the tidal island of Mont Saint Michel with its imposing monastery you feel like stepping back in time when you reached the place and it's least crowded during this time of year but brace for the cold European winter ❄️. When going around France 🇫🇷 just take the TGV train 🚆 or Train a Grande Vitesse to any city such as Lyon and Strasbourg and you get a complementary Champagne 🥂, no need to fly in a budget airline.

It's Bonjour Paris in December as Air France 🇫🇷 recently said that they are returning to the Philippines and launch their direct nonstop flights to Manila from their hub at Paris Charles De Gaulle it will be easier for us Schengen Visa holders who regularly travel to Europe and for European visitors and business people coming to the Philippines. We're the only Asian country without any direct flights to Europe 🇪🇺 but it will soon change, in the near future we could see Lufthansa 🇩🇪, British Airways 🇬🇧, Swiss International🇨🇭, ITA Airways(Italia Transporto Aereo)🇮🇹 the successor to the now defunct Alitalia flying back again to the Philippines.

Hello, salamat sa pagbisita! Kami, three weeks lang bakasyon pero budget was only around $4,500 … we only went to Boracay and the rest were local gala. Then again Hindi kami nagpapakain ng kamag anak or kaibigan araw araw lol… $10K is a huge amount unless you’re planning to stay for more than two months and eating out frequently 😆 anyway we planned most of our big trips so we knew exactly what we needed and planned our expenses around them 😊 Good luck on your trip and thanks again for visiting!

Round trip tickets cost me around $2K, they were still a little on the pricey end coz it's fresh out of the holidays

My biggest disappointment with PAL is that they don't have any flights to Europe particularly in the Schengen Area which I travel most still have to go to Hong Kong for a connecting flight via Scandinavian Airlines or Finnair. I used to fly with Lufthansa during my past travels to Europe until they ceased flying to Manila in 2003 and recently KLM the last European carrier is now gone. We no longer have direct flights to Europe due mainly to our unfavorable playing field and too much favoritism on the part of PAL and CEB.

that's too bad :( I read that the reason they stopped having flights to Europe was because it ended up being unprofitable coupled with the lack of demand from regular PAL customers due to the time it takes to get there and the total fare they would need to dole out ... but hopefully in the future PAL realizes that the demand is still there and reinstate its routes...

@@PasyalTV Just read the article that the German flag carrier Lufthansa is making a return to the Philippines and they will soon launch a direct non stop flights to Manila from either Frankfurt or Munich if this materializes it's a great news for travellers to Europe as I'm a Schengen Visa holder and a big "Herzliche Willkommen Zurück zu Philippinen" or Welcome Back to the Philippines as I speak German. When I fly with Lufthansa I used to be greeted by the cabin crew with "Gruß Gott" and "Herzliche Willkommen am Bord" and well known for their punctuality and efficiency. Also Air France are already working to return their direct non stop flights to Manila from Paris Charles De Gaulle a big "Bonjour et Bienvenue" again to them when they give it a go, a complementary Champagne 🍾 perhaps when they resume and take their flight.

@@PasyalTV The biggest mistake PAL did when they opened direct flights to London Heathrow is that the United Kingdom is not part of the Schengen Area and no longer an EU member country, they failed in their feasibility study that many Filipinos are in the Schengen Area or Continental Europe and no direct flights from airports such as Paris Charles De Gaulle, Frankfurt Main, Amsterdam Schiphol and others to Manila, they still have to go to a another airport in Asia or the Middle East before reaching the Philippines. I would be extremely happy when Lufthansa, Air France, Finnair, Swiss International and other European Airlines starts returning to fly directly to Manila again it will also be great when the New Manila International Airport in Bulacan becomes fully operational by 2027.
