That's my dad he taught me and my brothers how to jam out he's still passing on his gift. To my children I jam with two rivers and I'm still learning music from the other legends I jam with now. We still play alot. Of his music and he tells me about all the places he played and all the musicians. He jamed. With back in the day every time I get ready to go jam he tells me jam out good for the people and him. hell Yeah dad loud and proud

O the memorie, I remember the spontaneous dances that would pop up on the weakends. Practicing in the living room with my mom. This was one of her fav albums. Hers was lost along long time ago. I was lucky to have come across another album and quickly bought it. No one is allowed to play it but me it is the only copy i have. Wish it would be put into a CD form.

"Oik Oik Oik" is my all time favorite Waila Jam!!! My brother, who's 20 yrs older than me, told me one time when I was listening to it on a roadtrip that my mom used to sing it to me when I was a baby. I'm 36 now and everytime I listen to that song I get choked up (like right now) because my mother has long since passed on and I remember she used to listen to waila music all the time especially the Molinas, she would always tell me they were her cousins. Looking forward to the documentary!

This would be very interesting to watch! Coming from a family of musicians, we only pass memories by word of mouth. No documentation whatsoever! I may be young and didn't grow up around these years, but I am a fan of their style and how they created it in their own way. Good luck and I wish you the best.
