A very nice collection of small towns and villages to showcase the regional diversity of France from an architectural perspective. As an American, I'm always amazed at how smaller-than-the-US countries like France, Italy, Spain, and even Germany have such regional diversity. Indeed, there are small towns and villages in Brittany in northwestern France that look nothing like those in French Flanders in northern France, which look nothing like those in Alsace in northeastern France, which look nothing like those in Savoy near the Alps in east-central France, which look nothing like those in Provence in southeastern France which look nothing like those in the French Basque Country in southwestern France, which look nothing like those more in the interior of the country like the Dordogne or Auvergne for example, which look nothing like those in west-central France. The materials of the facades and the materials and shape of the roofs can vary immensely for such a small country. I look forward to seeing your videos on the small towns and villages of Spain and Italy very soon. I know they too are very regionally diverse like that, and its the small towns and villages where one can see this regional diversity the most.
