Along with a little reverb dialed in, the glassy-sounding pickups of the Fender Jaguar electric guitar gave the Jaguar a lovely surf-guitar sound! That guitar tone works very well here with Aram Khachaturian's Sabre Dance!

Alex's lead guitar is very loud dominant. If you look at Marisol Yolanda's hands, the root notes of her chords are with what the louder bassist is playing. So, Marisol's rhythm guitar is apparently buried in the mix with the notes being played by the bassist.

djGreenALERT flatwound strings my friend most folks use roundwounds now but if you play instro/surf most folks use flatwounds and they last much longer.they don’t handle bending quite aswell though that’s the trade off.burns through picks though.
