hello everyone,
happy losar to every tibetan friend of mine.(ལོ༌གསར༌ཚང༌མ༌ལ༌བཀྲ༌ཤིས༌བདེ༌ལེགས.ཞུ༎)
and for my indian friend let me give u a very brief intro on wat is LOSAR?? so.losar is a tibetan/buddhist new year .celebrated by every tibetan across the world. Generally,losar falls for 15 days,but celebrate with great joy and happiness for 3main days.all we do is greet our elder "TASHI DELEK" which means "joy & prosperity". and there will be small gathering of whole family and enjoy the day.
also,we go to our gurujis/lamas and get Blessings from them.
In short,losar is all about forgetting all the struggles in life and hatred towards other and enjoying the day..💗

I saw your video at home on my PC but couldn’t share on fb as I was busy. Then at work I got time to share but had hard time finding your video. The reason I looked for your video to share is because you translated our Losar so beautifully in Hindi and English both which I would like my non Tibetan friends to know how we celebrate our biggest festival. Very nice celebration! Looks great -:). This looks to be in Tawang, which is beautiful. Wonderful and captures the true spirit of Losar. I assume a visit to the Tawang monastery in the morning is part of the tradition and would like to see a video of it. Also like to see a traditional Monpa celebration of Losar as well -:).

You are welcome, Tsomo la. Looking forward to seeing more of Tawang and Mon. I know Mon culture is practically Tibetan, which you are showing it with deep reverence to HH and strong Gelug based, with much beloved 6th Dalai Lama being born there. Perhaps you are Tibetan or mixed with Mon -:). Not the case with your neighbour Druk Bhutan next door who is trying to distance from their Tibetan cultural roots. Calling their language 'dZongkha' which is really Tibetan and ignoring Tibet and HH during the most difficult period of our history.

Like..1st "nah a damba de sum...." 2nd " Mento lehna lexigangpu pra pre ka khrong " 3rd " sharshala dhungchang karpoo nan mala tho puta men bur nee mala sagya waku...."
