Thanks to these videos, my husband, the proverbial couch potato, is now an early morning exercise person like me. I cannot thank you enough. Told by his doctor he needed to be on BP medication, I suggested he tried being more active. For years he woul astay in bed while I was up doing something on KZbin. Now, its him that suggests your video. And what's more, no medication as his BP has dramatically reduced. Thank you.

I am so happy to have found your site, I was a fitness instructor for many years who gained 70 pounds through menopause and back injury and I have felt so defeated until I found you! I have lost 35 of these 80 pounds I need to lose! But worst part was that I wasn’t able to move, but now, because of you, I can!

may I ask how you lost the weight. I've been trying for months to lose and just can't lose and mine is through menapause. I'm so frustrated. which workouts are you following to lose weight. thanks!

Hi there! I tried all diets after menopause and my body just wouldn’t do it, my doctor put me on Mounjora (tirzepatide) for two months, which help me with the food and noise in my head and to get on 16 eight intermittent fasting. The medication is super expensive though and insurance usually only covers it if you have diabetes. But I thought it was well worth the money because now I am well on my way to getting back in shape. My weight loss has slowed down but I’m still losing 2 pounds a week, so I’m not going to complain about that!😊

@@JustTonja congratulations. I will never be able to afford that medication. glad it worked for you. do you think this particular workout helps as well? My doctor always makes me feel awful about myself even though I feel bad about myself he doesn't add to it. thanks

@@celinebeech5469 I understand, I had to put it on credit myself. Your doctor is an ass hat! Get a new one sounds like a total jerk. We women are hard enough on ourselves without having a doctor make us feel worse, your doctor should support you and help you find solutions. yes Tabata/hit workouts are phenomenal, I am so excited that doing her workouts has allowed me to be able to do this one.

Love this video and many of the others. Can you recommend which one would be best for osteoporosis. I use to go to the gym, to do a special program but they changed the sessions and I can't do all of the exercises (I have trouble getting up from the floor) it was mainly weight lifting, not easy to do at home. It is Aussie program. Have any suggestions?

Great workout. Could you teach us how to stand from sitting on the floor without using our hands/ arms and how to avoid hunched over posture? I appreciate your focus on seniors.

To be able to stand up from the floor without using the hands is mostly about building stronger legs. YIPPEE!!! I'm definitely wiping away the sweat! But, I did have to laugh when you mentioned "10 pound weights or wherever you are with your strength training..." I just graduated to 2 pound weights, after 3 months of 1/2 pound, and then 3 months of 1 pound weights. And I was right pleased with myself when I bought the 2-pounders...

hi, I love your statement. I feel the same way. I'm using a 3 pound weight but I started with 1 pound then 2 pound and now I graduated to 3 pound weights. I had to laugh when I read your comment. Funny how you think you are the only one only to find someone else doing the same thing. thanks.

I don't think anyone really *loves* Tabata workouts (if they're doing them correctly!), but this was very doable and I felt strong and accomplished when I finished. Thanks Jules!

OMG!!!!!...🏆YES!...YES!...YES!!!🏆 After going from being almost completely immobile, and doing your work outs from beginner to intermediate for a month this is exactly what I needed! My heart rate came up when we supposed to back down and it was supposed to. I am so grateful I found you!❤

Wow and wow, that was a tough one. I decided to take a day off from strength training and try this new workout. I normally don't do tabata or HIT workouts. Having Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism makes these types of workouts difficult. However, always down for a challenge, I saw, I sweated, and I conquered! The only exercises I had to modify were the squat jumps. My legs felt like lead, so I did a modified version with no chair. I am really proud of my accomplishment today. Thank you, Jules, for making this workout doable! P.S. I absolutely loved your outfit today (I know its not relevant but...) and that top, 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Oh yay, Paula!!! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it... and conquered it! The squat jumps are definitely a tough exercise and it's good you know your body well enough to know what you can do (and what you shouldn't do). I always like to give modified options when I give tougher exercises. Thanks for the compliment on the outfit...both are from Under Armour (they really should sponsor me since I wear so much of their clothing!).

I'm out of words...absolute genius. The only one I couldn't do was kinda burpee lol I just couldn't coordinate myself lol Jules that's the needed kind of exercise. I feel totally revitalised and ready go do my strength now. Honestly this is up my street, road everywhere. So enjoyable and went past quick. More more more ❤❤❤❤❤

What an excellent workout! The squat-to-jumps at the end were a real killer! I also appreciated the modified burpees - one exercise I have a LOT of trouble doing. The stretches at the end felt SO good and SO needed. So happy I can tackle a workout like this, still being careful about not to stress my shoulder muscle the wrong way. Thanks for a GREAT progression of exercises, Jules!

Jules another Success. I love the moment you lost your balance towards the end stretching and picked yourself right back up and smiled. That's who you are a normal human being who makes us feel great about ourselves while working out with you. Video at-home workouts are my jam. But I’m picky in what works for me. Ankle injury may have forced me to find chair workouts, but I’m SO thankful to have discovered your videos. These normal standing workouts are amazing too! Wish there were more ways other than liking/subscribing we could thank you!! Love the modifications overlay too!

Loved this this morning. The last week has been challenging to exercise - my eldest daughter is getting married in Kananaskis on Friday 19 and yours truly is chief organiser and decorator. But this was just the 'me' time I needed today, short enough but challenging using weights also. Thank you!

We did this gem this morning. I’m glad, especially for this workout, that you gave so many options, although I know it was more work on your part. I tried to at least stay with the “middle of the road” actions; a couple of moves I admit to having to do the modified version, but I was also able to do a couple of the harder ones (Rex did more of the harder ones than I did). It was surely a great workout! Thanks again, for all you do, and always presenting such great videos for us to exercise with!👍🏻

A massive congrats for doing this one, Mary & Rex! Be proud for modifying moves as needed (it's far better to modify moves rather than getting injured). If you ever feel a workout appears too challenging, do the easier option, see how you feel the next day, and then the next time you can do the harder version.

If I used copyright music all the time, I wouldn't be able to continue to create the videos. When copyright music is used, all of the income from the videos goes directly to the music companies. But, if you prefer familiar music, just mute me and listen to your favourite music. You can still follow along with the exercises. I won't be offended.😉

You'll be surprised at how quickly your legs and glutes will adjust to leg workouts once you start doing them twice a week. New exercises will give us that soreness, but we adapt quickly:)

If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'intermediate level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.
