Hi Haiying. I've been a long time listener. (You have commented on some of my drum stuff before ) I was having a severe panic attack. I'm not an anxious person but I've tapered myself off medication that I don't need anymore. During my panic attack I was able to get my phone to go through KZbin and nothing did a thing. As soon as I heard your voice my heart rate dropped to normal within a few seconds. I ended up with a wave of slight euphoria. You really are magical Haiying.

She’s one of the only voices that settles my body and mind during a panic attack. Eternally grateful; I’ve suffered from random panic attacks over the last decade that typically happen at night. Your videos tend to be perfect timing for me since you’re on the west coast and I’m in Virginia. You have no idea how much I appreciate the effort you put into posting videos each day. Makes me feel like I have a fellow teacher friend in California that I’ve never met in person. 17-year high school teacher and I’m exhausted. Your positive attitude has really helped me on my rough days… and I appreciate how transparent you are about your own moods and how they can fluctuate and how you avoid getting stuck in a rut. ❤

I'm sure you know but that warning is put on almost everything because a law was passed a while back that if you want to sell any product that contains...seemingly anything...in California it has to carry that warning. Seeing how big California is, every company hust prints that on their labels by default (haha).

More specifically companies in CA have a choice of either testing their products to see if there are any cancer causing carcinogens in what they’re selling ergo they would then potentially not have to put a sticker on it (which is more expensive), or they can not get their product tested and just slap a sticker on their product saying there MIGHT be cancer causing carcinogens in their product. Not surprisingly, most of them choose the latter. A good idea in practice, but corporation greed wins every time. If they can find a way to not spend extra money, they’ll take that avenue. It would’ve been better to just force them to spend the money to test their products instead of giving them that option of just not doing it and saying eh all this shit might have it…might not…who cares. ha
