Need a drk 160 esc and motor combo. 4.5t at least. 2 pole system for drag racing, Wins over 4 pole system. You get a faster time on 2 pole system on 2s. 4 pole system is good for speed runs with 6s 8s runs and no prep is 2s runs.

I pulled them off right out of the box very slowly and I got very lucky there was not much glue residue at all. I just wiped it with some alcohol and I was good to go

Have had 0 issues so far. I brake very slow. The brakes on this esc suck.

Yup, my spur gear is smooth as a baby’s bum. Not only did it strip off all the teeth. The edge of the gear looks like there was never 84 teeth on it, completely smooth. Best part of all is, the Losi spur gear is on back order everywhere you can order it from. I ordered two from Horizon Hobby on 07/26, Horizon isn’t getting them in until 08/30. Then they will be filling orders to their distributors, hobby shops, and then mail order customers. So my car will be sitting for another month. I’m buying a Drag Slash, there are Traxxas parts everywhere. The Losi 22s is cool, but it cost too much to be sitting idle for two to three months because of a $4.00 part. 😳 At least I got to run it for about a week before the spur gear stripped.

@@nitrousfedfilms5597 it's not the brakes on the esc it's that you only have the rear tires braking the front tires free wheel. The brakes set that high will cause it to spin out on hard braking
