Love the engine brother and if I was you I would shave off a little bit more then a hair off the mud guards instead of shims ..The only reason I say this is because when you run on grass the rims will flex and bend on uneven ground , So using a spacer too move the wheel out passed the mud guard is the only other way to stop rubbing and that would move the wheel out too far.

They never broke in my losi MTXL ..because if you know how to set endpoints they last! So think about your comment before you put your foot in your mouth!
