If it's the 2-piece 3.5 head you can most likely fit any 2-piece Ofna, Force, or OS cooling head on it as it doesn't change the dome only the cooling head. If it's the one piece only option is the low-profile Force 2.8 or 3.5 head which has the same conical diameter compression dome.

Look forward to seeing the shootout with the HPI & the Kyosho, I suspect the Inferno 3.0 will be the pick of the bunch.

You got the best locations👍 Not bad for the first run. Not too familiar with those Dynamite engines cooling head for options.

Love my losi eight not the fastest but the engine has been very reliable for a beginner basher ish buggy !

The Losi rtr comes with a big pinion. Changing it to a 13 or 14 will get the quickness up. First thing I did was a 14 tooth pinion and going two and two on the clutch shoes. Head looks rough but the engine will still run cool.

Same thing happened to my cooling head. The Kyosho Ke21 cooling head fits perfect.

I talked to an Australian guy that has had EVER 8 scale buggy including TA, Serpent, Tekno, Kyosho, etc and he said his Losi 8 beat them all!
@RazorRC Жыл бұрын
Which 8ight? There are like 6 of them.

@@RazorRC Well, this was like 2018 and he had it for a few years AND it was either stock electric or he converted it lipo from gas.

Broke mine in and run on vp 30%, been running weekly for a year now and it's been very reliable for a nitro. Breaks less than some of my electrics.

How long does it take to break in
@emcg76546 ай бұрын
@@stevenbrewer7314 I personally idled 3 tanks then ran it lightly for 2, I was a little impatient but it's worked out well so far. Would recommend finding a video on properly running in, process can be done in an afternoon.

Out of curiosity what shape are your shock boots in? Have they ripped or cracked yet? I've had my 8rtr for 2 years now and upon pulling it out of the box right off I noticed the boots (all 4) were cracked everywhere from top to bottom and after break in the 1st off road run they now have some pretty big rips and tears on them. Horizon probably would've replaced the boots at no cost but I never got around to contacting them. Anyways, gotta say this is my first nitro I learned to tune to a single stage idle, thanks to JQ and his awesome how to tune video that just worked for me from the first time I tried it!! Rip on my nitro bros.

they're still OK, but rubber degrades pretty fast and shock boots are not going to last that long

That happens way too much with the cheap cast cooling heads, doesn’t affect cooling too much fortunately

the cooling head 🤣🤣🤣

Where is this track? Looks like a lot of fun.

If you still have the HPI, I think both engines are made by Force, should be able to swap the 3.5’s head on.
@RazorRC Жыл бұрын
Thanks, I checked, but the HPI is different.

What brand of fuel are you using? The nitro fuel I use is made by VP racing and it’s blue, but yours looks tan
