Very cool. However, Losi really needs to work on getting their clear body prices down. They are usually much more expensive than other brands, sometimes double the price of brands like Traxxas. Can't think of any reason for it aside from profit.

Licensing is certainly a factor in the pricing, but Proline will likely also have a few options available.

But, it's the same with many unlicensed bodies too, like the original sbr, tenacitys, 22S ST, etc. There is no reason for selling a clear 1/10 truggy body for $67 USD. It's just a piece of plastic and some stickers. When retail prices are double Traxxas, there's a problem.

Fantastic handling truck! I know it shouldn’t be compared to an SCT, but if I would I’d honestly say it handles just as well. The scale looks help predict the boundaries of where it would spill very well. There’s a huge difference in how forgiving those tire compound is when compared to for example the Hammer Rey tires, and I guess the stiffer and smaller side walls add to that. I’m mighty impressed, ran two packs through it, had a few very nasty crashes too, some lawn darts, nothing stopped it! Another home run! 😃🙌🏼

greetings from northern michigan, I was torn between this and the hammer rey. I choose the hammer rey for looks and size. like it alot but doesnt handle as well as the baja. good to see video from you what a perfect spot for bashing an rc

Right on! The Hammer Rey is certainly a handful to drive, the Baja Rey is a lot more forgiving. I was expecting more torque rolls but it stayed planted.

I found it set up very well out of the box driving wise, but there are three different spring rates available to play with along with of course some different shock oil. Will run a couple more packs through it as is first. Thank you for stopping by!

Hi Cheia long time no see. So it looks more like the V2 Super Baja Rey I would buy it but a steep price would put me off, I did not buy the 1/6th V1 or V2 as they were way to expensive but I did get the 30 degrees North SDT clone and it is tougher than my freinds V1 & V2 Losi's. It would be great to have a small one to leave in my car to use when I have to wait, so at the moment I keep my UDR or Super Baja Rey clone so have to remove them if I am carrying passengers annoying.

This is called Ford Raptor Baja Rey 2.0 and your title confused my and I thought there is a new Super Baja Rey 2.0 from Losi. Kinda big for 1/10. With my 1/5 scale I do bash a little too, so if Losi is still the same it will be able to do that too. Lights look a bit unproportional. Rest is Losi Qualitiy and I like it. But promised my girl not to buy any cars anymore :D

@@hemistormrc I disagree, the front suspension is way to high and stiff as seen in the driving part of the video, sure u can set it up like u want but for a stock factory setting, this is crap and not even in sight of how traxxas managed to get the same thing so much better dialed in. just my 2 cents regarding this.
