Melanie James you can but depending on the engine you use like these engines that are in this RC’s you want more oil then that because of the extra hi RPMs they make and sometimes for long periods of time at wide open throttle so I definitely recommend 28:1! And if your breaking in a New never used engine for the first time I recommend 24:1. I have friends that run high quality oil like Amsoil Dominator Oil on there RCs at 40:1 and they have no problems but you won’t see me do that ! I have used and did 32:1 in the past when I raced but I can use 28:1 to race as well just fine so this is what I run for some period of time now on every engine I have with ethanol free Cam-2 💯 octane

FYI, when a losi drops the price on a rig, then next thing losi does is discontinue the rig. I’ve seen it 100 times. ONLY one to be discounted and NOT discontinued was 5b.

Hey man! Love all the videos lately. I had a question for you. I just finished rebuilding my MTXL for the first time and before I wrap it up I want to really lock up the diffs. What is the maximum weight I could put in there to get some real torque? Or should I stick to the book on what weight I should put in each diff. I use this thing for real bashing and jumping.

Go 800,000 center diff and 250,000 front and rear diffs would be good for a long time with a bigger engine. But if you are running stock engine or 30.5 or 32 ? 500,000 center and 100,000 or 150 on front and rear is great for bashing and jumping and still turns great

Pre heat your engine with heat gun to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and loosen the glow plug if you need ?

I broke down and bought a MTXL after the price drop. Love it but ive broken hinge pins, and the steering arms. Like you said I love it especially after I put a Rovan exhaust on it. Its not built any better than my King Motor X2 ( the one with all the hop ups on it) I love my X2, Great video

I just took my Bartolone pipe to my buddy's shop yesterday close where I live and he ceramic coated my pipe ....Wow that really looks good..It is rated up to 1200 degrees .....If you are looking to get some more pipes or other pieces done let me know and I will talk to you..

Thanks but I take it to my friend that’s from the eastern part of Long Island he does a great job always for me for years. He uses military grade shit sometimes because he powder coats many things for the government and even Ceramic coat the exhaust headers on the tanks and trucks

Sure I’ll let you know I’ll let everyone know if that happens. I have not used it yet but I was possibly thinking of Firing her up soon? PitDawg Hydro did that for me and he did a special job on the tank so it could last for me even if I splash fuel on it but I have not tested it out yet. He told me that I should have no problems with it but I can never leave gas in it Over night or for a long time and I said that’s fine with me because I don’t do that anyways with any RC

@@BOTAJELL ok cause I heard another way is to line the inside of tank with a chemical they make it's big issue on our cars and dirtbikes yours looks nice I just did adhesion promoter and painted it was nice till starded lifting from underneath but there telling me it's not that I did bad job but its fumes that permeate through plastic tank I'm gonna try not leaving the fuel in it anyway thanks for taking time getting back to me have good night brother!

I got 6 Nitro Engines getting Modified at RB MODS so I got many nitro things going on plus I help out many newbies daily with nitro on many past videos I already have up constantly. I’m also working with a Engine company that I can not say there name yet on a New next level engine and if everything turns out well ? It’s going to be a worlds first ever !!! Also I got Robin from ERCM to come back out for us for a run on some wonderful hand made and proven pipes! Anyways enjoy the build on your new X buggy that’s awesome! I will not be getting a X buggy because I’m happy with my 4.0 but I will most definitely get the X TRUGGY and even pay extra for for prerelease date just like I did with my 4.0 truggy! Hopefully the new X Nitro Truggy will come out??? They got too but if they don’t ? I will still get another Truggy just don’t know what yet!

My 125 gallon use to be right by my bed, and this one time (but not the first) That fucker Arowana of mine, jumped out of his tank and landed right on my face! Got me all scared! We were both flopping around in the middle of the night ! Haha I threw him back into the tank, mad but also laughing on how that happened. Learned my lesson and started putting 5lb weighted plates on my canopy.

The best for your 5T is the BARTOLONE 32 Reed or 34!!! I have the 34 Bartolone in my Primal Dragster and she’s no joke and my friend got the 32 Bart in his losi 5T and it throws his 5T around like a little rag doll bitch and it also screams! It’s got power and RPMs ! It’s hard to say from the Bartolone’s 32 34? I’ll take another Bart Engine over my Scott Finlay and OBR all day! I like them all and I own all of them but I’m just saying what I prefer over all and best results.

Sounds like sum serious stuff 👍😎 question, what do u do with the fig trees when they're fully grown? Sell em? Plant them in ur yard? Or both? Also, the crankshaft for the 70cc has finally been solved. So I was Gunna do was modify the old crankshaft and buy a new rod and get it assmebled/balance ect by a professional, so I calculated the price of the whole thing and it was as much as buying a proper brand new crank so obviously I went for the new one to save effort. And that was the most expensive part of the build. Now it should be fairly easy 👍

That’s cool and it would be real nice but the Bartolone EndBleed made the best numbers on the dyno even better numbers then his own XP pipe and MTXL Big Bore pipe . The EndBleed pipe is the one he made for the LOSI 5B but you can install it on a 5T if you drill out the side plastic guard and I think it should fit the MTXL as well ??? I’m not 100 % on that yet but I will try it out on mine someday and my friend Gary is going to do that as well probably sooner then me so stay tuned!! If you get Bartolone’s End Bleed pipe ? Make sure you get the new version with the Aluminum honeycomb header 💥👍💥🤝

No not the best different feel for different applications . Obr made a bad ass Long Stroke 30.5 some time ago that ripped asss ! It screamed and it was great for guys that want speed with there light weight Bajas with paddle tires for the sand dunes . I think they may even have a video of it you should check it out there bad ass. They were also great for Drag racing and that I have seen in person and the RC Drag Track! 30.5 long stroke Modified hi compression will spank that ass on a full mod 34 all day in a Baja . The 34 and 32 signature series does ok but if you get the Drag Mod from them they will do better ! The 32 is faster then the 34 in a Baja class but if you want to race Primal Dragster? You will need the 34 unless you play with the gears set up on a 32 on the Dragster? Bartolone 34 Drag Mod is a different beast and feels and performs so different and that’s why they also cost more and he makes the perfect pipe to be used on them so you get a perfect combination and a true Modified 990 carb that’s drilled out and jet change unlike a Modified 990 carburetor from obr with just a Spring change .

I would not do it at all! Your going to spend way to much on that rs4 trust me I had 4 of them ! I even had a Modified O.S. .18 on the bitch that made over 40,000 RPMs from Robin ERCM and I used a THS header with a ERCM Small Block EndBleed Pipe. I had old school Rs4 with belt drive and new ones with drive shafts and diffs and they all sucked on the ground because they used to hit everything on the ground and the fuel tank is so fuckn small it’s crazy. I’d had to fill up every 5 minutes lmao 🤣. Bro you get what you want but I’m tell you that thing will be a money pit . With the money you spend on that thing, you would be able to almost buy a Nitro Truggy instead

You can send in your 34 full mod to OBR and upgrade it to a signature series engine if you want ? They have to versions of it and there most powerful is there Drag Mod that will need a 990 carb with a spring change but it’s not recommended for MTXL . But can be used . You can also get a signature series set up for bashing instead of a Drag Mod and run any carb your comfortable with but if you ever want to race ? The Drag Mod is the way to go even 5T racing and especially drag racing
