I've been watching most of the reviews on this, and yours is right up there with the best. I think this is going to be the hottest selling RC in years , and they will not be able to keep up production. I will be getting one for sure, but I'll wait for the second batch. I never buy first run of anything. The coolest RC in years, IMO.

Great advice on the rubber exhaust tip. I glued mine and glad I did . Because I noticed that the two screws that hold the exhaust on , were stripped from the factory. All the plastic threads were on the two screws . So I had to apply crazy clue around the inside of the holes and the re-tap the threads . If I had not checked it after watching your video. I would have lost the whole exhaust not just the rubber tip . Thanks for all your videos.

It also seems like one of those easy to learn but hard to master type deals. With some better understand of the tuning and leveling up the riding skills these things can probably be so smooth and fun on a track.

Hey Matt Tim again. Trying to share something with you before they are gone . Today VITAVON released an all aluminum front brake caliper for the promoto. It looks awesome . I knowca lot of people I've seen on KZbin have had some Trouble with the stock one sticking . I believe this caliper will be a nice upgrade. I know their swing arm is second to none on the market now. Best design I have seen . Anyway just wanted to put it out there. Stay cool 😎

Horizon definitely screwed the pooch on these preorders. I ordered mine from my hobby shop. They were told they were getting 6. Order came and no bikes. They have no idea when they are coming in. So there’s a few of us that are pissed. Great review dude!

Oh I’m sure man! I’d be totally pissed if I were you. I honestly feel like they should’ve honored the hobby shops first. I think they kinda did some but not others which is messed up also. Idk how I got lucky enough to get mine shipped. I did order form horizon as soon as preorders went up and paid for 2 day shipping (like always) but I’m still surprised it came as quick as it did. I keep hoping some good news will pop up for everyone that’s still waiting. Really sorry you haven’t got an update at least. Hopefully you hear something soon!

Which mode are you in on the jumps? Do you just hold the trigger at the top of the ramp or do you just let off the trigger like on a RC car at the top of the ramp?

Pretty much any mode you can almost just stay on the throttle. If you let off it really wants to nose.

I forgot to mention. You can backflip off of a tree trunk just like the XMAX. Just hit the base of the tree like you're going to climb it and then hit full throttle.

FYI they sell elbow pads for GI-Joes and other action figures that would work on the rider. Go to a local toy store or Walmart. 19t pinion IMO gives it better performance on grass and while turning to hold RPM better. Stock is 20t. I can't wait for the SuperMoto wheels. I have the blue one and ordered the green one and it said June 12th and looked at it today and now the ETA is gone. I also ordered the black jersey and black plastics that shipped. I went to go order extra blue plastics and now nothing is even on the website. Losi doesn't even have the green one on their site anymore. WTF is going on? Amain had an ETA and now that's gone too. They should have known something this unique was going to sell. The same thing happened when the DBXL came out. They hyped it up and knew it was going to sell like hotcakes and rather than postponing the release to get more inventory they shafted us for 5 months on the pre-order without any notice. The Losi division has some of the best R&D departments of all of RC but they need to fire and hire a new logistics department cause they suck. lol, I also agree the Pro moto mx is the most fun I have had since my first 6s XMAXX. It was huge and gnarly. The XMAXX still puts a smile on my face to this day when I drive it at the skate park. I took my Promotto to the skate park and it was so freaking fun doing the upside-down tubes. You need to go try a skate park with your promote mx. You will laugh like a crazy person, lol.

Haha! I have been thinking about hitting our skatepark with it. The park here is pretty weak but has a nice hillside that I could use for a downslope. I may have to play around with the pinion for sure! I figure eventually something will break and I’ll have to pull it apart. Then maybe I’ll start some mods. But so far it just keeps going lol. Definitely checking out some clothing options and maybe those elbow pads. I got a couple hoodies and a leather jacket ordered. Hoping it all fits! If so I’m definitely ironing on some 2FM logos to those hoodies 🤘

Try a (generic) 2s HV pack. IF the gyro/flywheel doesn't increase, I believe 3s would work. IF it increases ANY, don't try 3s. BUT, as I tell newbie rc pilots from day 1, 'gyros don't make a better pilot'!🤷‍♂️

Videos of this product do not impress me at all. They need to get the bikes expedited to the people that have put up their money. Anyone can make an edited video of how great this product is. These videos don’t make anything real to how the product performs for a pro. It’s all hype until we find out for ourselves. Fill the orders. No offense, but come on, don’t tease people for something that’s this overpriced and then not deliver.

I totally agree! I just got lucky that my order shipped. I paid for 2 day shipping (always do so I can get it asap for vids) so luckily I got mine in the first shipment but I definitely feel for the ones who put up their money and have to deal with these wait times. I’d be ticked myself. I’d probably already have canceled my order honestly. I hope you get yours soon so you can see how amazing it is for yourself!
