Cool video, this is on my wishlist and only a matter of time. Interesting you get good performance with no diff fluid. They don’t “diif out”, no inside tire rotating much faster? Thanks

I have been using Aeroshell 5 grease on my Xmaxx for years instead of diff fluid. The handling is amazing, you get superior protection from wear and it will never leak out. Give it a try

A lot of times we race on loose dirt and it really helps the truck during it. I think if we were on high bite stuff all the time, some oil would be good but I (Doug here) personally prefer without it. I know some guys like the heavier oil in them though, especially for freestyle.

Run into any QC issues with yours yet? One of my bottom shock caps is missing threads. Instructions seem pretty ambiguous in areas as well. Not what I'd expect for such a premium cost.

What bodies will work with such a long wheelbase? 15" is almost 1/8 scale vs. 1/10 scale. Do we think a normal LMT cage would fit this? I love the lower carbon look bit hate the upper carbon cage, looks fake. Would love to do a green cage and grave digger body on this chassis.

yeah the biggest issue with that wheel base is how loooong it is. I'm going to try and use a JConcepts Snoop Nose and will mock up some other ones to see what fits. I probably won't be using the upper cage either.

No, why would it? We have been running these for 2 years in TK, racing and freestyling, and I don’t think a single person had issues in this regard.

That may be the way Tony builds them, but we are out there racing and freestyling these things hard every month. I do not think any of our guys run limiting straps. They look cool but are not essential.
