I feel like the wheel definitely has an issue with its randomization. FTL seems to be its new favorite since the replacement of the text with images and Gungeon was way heavy in the text era. If there's somehow something about the values on the wheel that causes it to be somehow weighted, then a shift from text to images would very likely shift that weighting, but not eliminate it. And for anyone that's going to dismiss this offhand, we ran the numbers during the Gungeon era and the odds it would come up as much as it did was in the 1 in 400k range. You can say "retrospective is irrelevant, it DID come up that much", but that's only valid of you know for certain what the true odds are. If you rolled a physical 20 sided die and the result came up 1 enough to be creeping towards 1/400k likelihood, you'd be right to start suspecting you were throwing a weighted die. Suspicion is not a guarantee, I could definitely be incorrect, and there's likely nothing to be done with this info anyway other than maybe finding a new randomizer, but it is definitely suspect vibes.

"we ran the numbers" Who? The discord? And how many times did Gungeon get rolled in a row? I think 1/400k odds are unlikely enough that you probably mathed wrong somewhere

Brosky, instead of pretending to "run the numbers" for such a small sample size, download the original source code for Momander's wheel spinner (which wheelofnames is a GUI-based fork of) and just look at the way it randomizes the integer values. Or, take it from someone who has, it is random. Easily verifiable, you should have no issue taking apart that sequence if you have a team of guys running numbers and extrapolating values to 400k spins. And if by chance you discover that wheelofnames is a total fraud gaming numbers and that your findings have nothing to do with human pattern recognition bias or the outrageously low sample size you're working with, find some way to let the thousands of steamers, businesses, charities and classrooms that rely on it know that it's apparently fraudulent.
